I kind of wish you would also allow up down left right for directions, for those of us on a laptop its a bit odd to control
also speccing into bounty hunter/gun side is completely broken I was almost consistently just shooting all the enemies and never running out of ammo (then again I guess the sword stunlocking foes is just as OP..idk about the mage side)
uhm it wasnt bad? I got bored after the 5th try (2nd stage) frank has like a milion hp and eventually its less about a game and more play for upgrades just so your weapons become semi reliable
it was fun but it kind of got boring later when it was less about aiming and more throwing as much ammo into them as you could (though I think the last launcher is bugged it wouldnt reload for me)
Great game but after 3 hours I'm still nowhere near beating it (and it is getting quite repetitive) but a hint for new players..when you get the cannon use it, soon as your adventurers lift their weapons to *cheer* at a kill fire it will hit the next 1 and start the cooldown
Finally :) After almost 2 hours (I think I may be contracting tetricitis) won..creator please make more games that are HARD like this, some of us enjoy challenging games
shyguy, the shield painting is easy, slowly move around (it makes bigger ink circles) the edge then work inwards after you get the outside done.. I rarely get under 100% and never under 95
when in doubt "escape" the word in any fashion is often the answer (otherwise a translator is quite nice) but 35 (even after checking a walkthrough) still makes no sense
My only ONLY complaint is that since the bosses gain hp (which makes sense in a game where you upgrade weapons) especially with the lower grade weapons its more of an endurance fight than anything
I enjoyed it (but it got laggy sometimes) but the final mission felt like kind of a let down to me, you say it will be continued but it felt inconclusive
I like the game quite a bit but 1 major problem..the sun is to bright early in the day so getting powerups is moreso blind luck than actually seeing them
Ok so after like 10 games I still don't quite understand the "stun" stat it seems to just kind of exist, but more importantly the game seems balanced..except the frost king (if your in melee when he uses his combo crescent thing it takes like 2/3's of your total hp)
It was enjoyable but kind of repetitive after a few levels (the dungeon didn't change paths) and the constant hp/mana regen after you clear 2 rooms in a level made it seem kind of easy minus the boss stage then the first 2 rooms after
I liked the game don't get me wrong, but what did the stats exactly do? I played multiple times and didn't notice a major game play difference even if I just maxed say attack (minus I never crit, but it didn't feel like it changed anything about playing)
creator a few things, the opening "story" was kind of cool, but the click/space spam sometimes worked sometimes didnt (meaning sometimes the disks just disappeared like 3 inches from the spawn) and the upgrades really didnt do anything, overall I wish it was better, if it was a first try I say good job (at least the music..well if the loop was more than 20 seconds, was good)
Thank you for your comments, I will look into those bugs. This was not a first try but as it says in the description this was made in 72 hours for ludum dare, so many bugs remain.
creator (series problem in general) why do you award medals for summoning a troop, all it does is forces people to buy certain units at certain points which you really don't need (I just wait until I'm most of the way through the game to go back and collect them)
the game doesn't get harder :/ and it gets kind of boring (I have life span up to 100, all the money I could need, resources to do anything) Sorry I'm not going to finish your game there is no point
my only complaint is that sometimes (world war 1 is the culprit) sometimes a huge blimp appears in the middle of the screen while other stuff is happening you lose a lot of the birds (the 2% invuln per bird killed sadly is the only saving thing sometimes)
i got bored after like 6 stages because there was no thinking involved or anything it was basically watching a movie that you had to periodically keep clicking play
I have 1 suggestion for the AI, when there is an opponent unable to attack PICK A NEW TARGET, the amount of times it has turned into a 1v1 and my side has lost because the ai (my side) to keep throwing spears at someone whose just cheering to the crowd instead of killing the other opponent..also why do they seem against coordinating or even aiming at 1 place?
