you could improve playability by graying out the numbers that are definitely impossible in order to compensate for the lack of notation space present with the pen-and-paper version.

can't determine how well the platform detection is going, due to a lack of platforms, so I can't determine how good the jump-code is. it could just be scanning for a height of zero after the jump, which would case it to fail when dealing with platforms.

number of trees doesn't matter when they are not solid. (or did you mean you removed their physical presence?)
