I saw no difference when I had two physics labs of how fast interceptors were built as opposed to none, in fact I won much more quickly and easily w/o the physics labs and more fighter bays.
For infect defense use one or two fighter bays with miners. Watch as the infected infect one of your miners. Now you can easily get 2-4 reactors before the next wave.
This badge of the day is difficult, I could get gold on a few of the previous levels, but only on amateur, could only get bronze, let alone pro silver.
Need structure repair for level I was talking about in previous level, makes super easy, just a few steel blocks, defensive turrents, 4 reactors, and 4 starports pumping out battleships.
I'm having a lot of trouble with the heat damage 51 difficult siege ship reward. I've tried battleships, fleet carriers, and interceptor spam nothing works.
Beat game, most of the 3-x were easier than the 2-x. I don't think any level was over the top difficult if you knew what you were doing. I did have the most trouble overall with 3-2 in my opinion. Seems very luck based very little room for error. I played this game a few years ago and got stuck on 2/2 glad I was finally able to beat that stage.
gauss cannons + fusion reactors work excellent for 2-5. I had 7 reactors, one accumulator, about 16 gauss and about 5 freeze. Only the very fist enemy almost took my station. After that it was all down hill.
I'm having trouble with 2-5 since the enemy attacks from at least 4 directions and with no enemy base, there is no way to know how difficult each wave will be.
You have to play each map multiple times to stand a chance. For example the enemy could come from left or right, you have a 50% chance to guess right. Yet, if you guess wrong, your castle will take so much damage that it is almost guaranteed loss. Meanwhile it is next to impossible to rush since the enemy has defensive bunkers.
Just got the hard badge with 42 weeks to go! I followed halfdelita's advice, except I only trained combat and didn't bother with science,. Science seemed redundant since your cmdef will hit 100 which is increased by science before your combat attack will hit 80. Every dungeon and monster should be very easy except greer's with the elite skeleton warriors. Just keep plowing into them and eventually they will downgrade to an easier monster or you will get lucky and win.
