how about a grind version where the game is as is now, and a non grind version where all the thrust is 10x stronger? that way people that hate grinding can beat it quick, and those of us that don't mind grinding can play the hard version
There are some balance issues. There is a 7km stretch on the highway with no repair garages, and not enough water to put out fires. Also the pedestrians should be good for something other than RP points. They don't even give more time in the time limit mode.
It's amazing. Here's how to make it better: 1) Boss fights at the end of each level so their is incentive to fight monsters You can beat the levels by just avoiding monsters. 2) Equipment drops. Instead of losing everything at the end of each level have some equipment available to tune the character. Examples would be ranged weapons, stat boost items, resistance to traps or particular monsters, resistance to status effects etc.
The controls in the platforming section are too floaty. In the platforming part background art should blend in with the background so we know what we can jump through. Also was it necessary to load the entire overworld image at once? I was getting like 10fps there. Otherwise it's good.
The scrolling part is too slow. We should be going the jeep speed at all times, and the jeep should go about 4x faster than it does. Also why weren't there more oversized enemies with destructable parts?
