70500 points at sniping! Hell yes! Too bad hostile arena is laggy like crazy for me, every time I come out from my cover my cursor doesn't move anymore...
This isn't only one of the greatest platformers made in Unity, it's one of the greatest platformers hosted on Kongregate. The controls were top notch, the gameplay was well thought and exectued, the level designs were great and felt really non-linear and the puzzles were just about the right difficulty. Add to this the 3D aspect and you've got a raw gem. Oh and also, my computer is shitty, and lags on most 2D games, but this one? Not even slowed down a second.
The basic idea could work, but a real time strategy game with poor controls, retarded player AI, and a fast pace can only result in high amounts of frustration.
Ambitious, but terrible game. Sure, it was cool to see people try for full animation and voice overs, but the result was pretty bad. Same goes for the story, could have been great if not for the gratuitous drama here and there, and the various plotholes other comments already pointed out. As for the gameplay, there's the two most annoying flaws in point-and-clicks: Pixel hunting for items, and retarded logic. Could I have taken a poster and taped it to the mirror? No, I have to BURN A CAT, while trying to, huh, kill flies? With a flamethrower? I dunno, 2/5 for the effort.
typ0, jump on the two right floating bricks (may be tricky, stand half a tile before the 3 spikes, then jump forward - the trick is not to hit the wall where the spike is standing or you won't make it to the bricks), then jump a bit outside of the screen and quickly go back toward the crown.
First, this game is most probably stolen. Just look at how amateurishly written the description has been written and you'll probably agree.
Second, the concept of the game is a complete rip-off from Gibbets, no questions. Sure, archer games are a genre in itself, but they are hundreds, if not thousands of things you can shoot at. Why gibbets then?
I liked the game because people used to create hard, challenging levels, but that could always be solved with skill and patience. Now with the keys system it's just one massive fest of luck and luck and more luck.
Great graphics, but a shame that the gameplay is unbalanced. Had to pass a corridor with two magicians shooting at me while I was playing a swordsman on level 4 or 5. They kept on shooting at me while fleeing, each shot dealing 30 to 50 damage and each shot of course unavailable. That was pretty frustrating as it was pretty much a unavoidable death. Did I say the graphics are nice? Because I really like them.
ThinksInCircles, I think it's not because your progression has been erased, but because stars were added for some levels. Like, if there was a level where you could only get one star for making it under par time, now they added one for getting all the coins, thus, you only have 1 star on the 2 available, and you don't have a golden door anymore.
Love the game, though I find the commands in the Thinker hard to understand what they do. A small description when you hover over them would be nice, or a sandbox where you can immediatly see the results of your changes.
Promatheus, I got the required time on Oving Oval without cheating. 14 seconds each lap is completely possible, just make sure to take the turns as close to the inside as possible, but if you ever hit the grass, just restart.
An overall excellent sniper shooter. Really interesting and beautiful story delivery. 3D effects were a nice addition to the genre. Upgrades were scarce but none of them felt superficial as in other games, and controls were top notch. The only critics I can make is that with only 4 (or was it 5?) missions, it's just a tad short, that your ammunition gets deducted even if you fail, and that the hide / unhide system feels kind of like a russian roulette as you can get shot as you as you go out.
So bitching about game is not cool.
But bitching about bitching is!
(I know I'm bitching about bitching about bitching, but I'm not the one who started the argument and went hypocriitical in the first place.)
Is the "kill 100 hangmans" trophy broken? I just made sure to kill 100 times the guy on level 1, and still nothing. Too bad because it's the only trophy I'm missing.
