A rather boring game, especially because half of the stars are just blended into the background. Less a finding game more of a 'how the heck was I supposed to see that' game. It's Where's Waldo on roids.
This is obvious just an Android game you uploaded. I can't even get it to start, and your description is entirely copypasted from your Game Maker article.
Parade Manager: "Hello Mr. Mayor, we have a request"
Mayor: "What is it"
Parade Manager: "We would like to order 20,000 balloons the size of a head that are made of pure iron"
Mayor: "But how would tha-nevermind, have fun with your lead ballons. Watch out for that emo kid though, he has wads of paper."
A well done, but terribly basic, defense game. 4/5 and I think its done fairly well for such a simple game. A way to make the gameplay a little more hectic would always be appreciated, I found myself getting bored around the end.
I'm afraid to say this barely qualifies as a game, to be honest. It's literally just dragging objects, and then locking them into place. Nothing special. 1/5
Just as a note: The character kept going on its own for the duration of my comment writing, due to the cluttered, poorly designed level layout. It had nothing to do with my input at all, in fact when the character was about to stop, he'd hit a catapult and keep going another 200 feet.
Another installment of the 'launch' genre, except this one is just plain bad. There's no strategy, unlockables, or variety of items. Far inferior to the standard set by the likes of Toss the Turtle or Burrito Bison. 1/5
Man, so many grammar issues in one place. Description, instructions, in-game. Everywhere! I don't think there's any use of the shift key the entire game. Also, I just don't understand the mechanic. It's basically just a platformer with a couple basic gameplay elements and rather bad level design, but then there's this....seed thing you have to drag along which gets easily stuck?
This game seems pretty stock, and isn't anything too special. While difficult, its difficult for the wrong reasons. Mainly the 'cloud' mechanic. Basically, the cloud falls like a stone the second you touch it. It doesn't even slow your fall rate. Give the cloud at least SOME resistance, come on. Tapping Z is really annoying, and gets frustrating when you force us to wall jump off the clouds as well.
Rather repettitive and boring after a while. I would have preferred the game to have the items move slower, but a BUNCH more on the screen at once to make it more strategic.
Personally, I'd look into learning ActionScript. You're not going to get far with standard Stencyl, trust me. Graphics shouldn't really be on your agenda at this stage either. Gameplay should ALWAYS come first. Heck, make your character a sphere with physics until you're ready to add graphics.
Thanks! If you think of some extra twists, feel free to leave me a shout. Always looking for ideas for level packs and sequels!
