A half finished game that was released too early on Kong. Has been here for a month and a half and I've been maxed out on everything for three weeks now. What does work is interesting, but the dev has lost so much momentum from the initial release and subsequent slow updates that people are going to stop playing. I have already, am tired of waiting for any updates of significance.
Can we have the Auto Collect default to "on" after a browser refresh/restart? Have been caught with that a few times now, done a game restart, left it for a few hours, only to come back and see the board filled once and stayed there with no progress.
@F7_Fenrir I wouldn't say they're useless, but definitely a lower priority than the other upgrades. The upfront upgrades might be useful late game. I do get the first clone upgrade tho. When going late into a run it is a nice little occasional boost on the higher gens when you use it.
Yay an update! Thanks. The prestige timers are definitely welcome, but for me at least they don't work, I get 00:00:00 for the countdown timer. Also, for the number of pixels until next prestige point, which gen level pixels does it refer to?
@flick022 They're not separate generations, it's the same set of pixels in all generations, just the higher the generation the more "zoomed out" you are.
Agree with comments that gets waaaay too slow after Gen3. I'm at Gen5 and left it running overnight with 150% auto collect and an auto clicker to purchase upgrades and still only got a single prestige point. what.
@homostylinson - I have to agree. I used to hover around the 100 rank and am down to 300, and I even bought a follower multiplier several weeks back. The only real interesting aspect left in the game for me has now become P2W. I don't regret buying the multi, I've gotten great game play up until now and am happy to send the devs some revenue. But after the problem with the new monsters/heroes, continual browser crashes every hour, and a bloated game that slows my high end PC to a crawl, sadly I'm done after I get the last entity (after corruptor).
I think out of the gate the game is quite good. I agree with much of the suggestions so far. A grab-scroll method would be useful, as opposed to the clumsy mouse scrolling, which usually ends up scrolling the whole window. Also, the "Game saved" popup isn't necessary, and a bit annoying. Would be better to have it as an inline message at the top. Looking forward to the updates.
Would like to see energy production in the same list as Iron, Steel, etc. Also a bit cumbersome to go back and forth between research and buildings. However, so far only minor adjustments imo. Really enjoying the game.
@WallabeeChamp - Are you serious? Almost all of your comments are about various games not saving for you. I would think by now that you'd comprehend that the problem is on your end, and not the problem of every game on kong ... ?
Really enjoying the game. Can you make the "Capacity" buttons a different color than the Amplifier buttons? When trying to make a fast click, I keep miscounting the Amplifier buttons with the Capacity buttons being the same color. Thanks :D
Have been looking for another "go-to" game for little quick diversions. After going through all levels, have played the Minesweeper++ levels numerous times. I don't even mind that there's occasional guess work. After all, the original Minesweeper almost always required guesswork on the larger levels as well. Top notch game!
Update: Wasn't a flash update, was a Chrome update, possibly Chrome + Pepper Flash. Thanks Gurgle. Tried other browsers: Firefox: slower, IE: didn't even load, Edge: didn't even bother. Surprisingly (or maybe not), Opera turned out to be zippy fast. Browser of choice going forward ...
We finally fond a solution ^^U
