Even on low quality, this game is so intense that my browser becomes unresponsive. I've yet to really be able to play and enjoy this game in the same way that I played and enjoyed the original.
It's been said, this game moves too slow. the other 2 points (as stated by Wriemelmuis) can be overlooked very simply because the portrait doesn't matter and the zombie spawning is a minor detail. The biggest problem for me is the near constant grinding to get the next equipment. Yes the cash drops are plentiful, but it's all small amounts. The only real way to earn cash is at the end of the missions, which take forever to get to. I would have to give it a 3.5/5 because it is enjoyable, but requires a lot of grinding to beat.
Not bad. Crosshairs on the thermo could be a little better and the recoil has no noticable change with the different stocks. The barrels, however, show a slight difference. I haven't tried the different bullets yet (and am only on the second gun). As an upgrade game, it would be very easy to grind until you have all the weapons and "upgrades", but there doesn't seem to be any specific goal otherwise. If you could develop a story, such as an airlift on the way, supplies are limited, and you need to survive XX days, then you'd have a great game with some replayability. All-in-all, not bad, the visuals are good and the gun selection is extensive. If you can implement that (and maybe something with the last clip upgrade like 1 round then re-purchase), you'd have a great game worthy of a 5/5... but for now, I give it a 3.
Very much a grind-fest game. It takes so long to earn enough cash for just 1 upgrade. Add in the pets (and the fact that the "random pet" button only works once) and you get a game that really doesn't seem worth the effort. It does have potential, but as is I'd give it a 2.5/5.
Many, many problems that make this far from even being a beta. First, what in-game instructions? Second, upgrades? And finally the "level" itself, how can you beat something you can't even hit? If there are changes made, my rating might go up; but as of now, I would give a 0/5 if I could. Since I can't, you get an extremely generous 1/5.
I know that this has been said, and that you say you've fixed it before, but the buttons are still messed up. At present, you have to click just below and to the right of any of the buttons for them to register.
80 wins, less than 10 losses... not a difficult game, but a great time killer. I hope to see an easy badge on this soon (maybe a medium, too). And yes, I do know that it's Kong staff that make/give badges, not the devs.
It takes forever to beat even the first boss, while the other enemies are extremely easy to beat. Other than some much needed re-balancing, I had one major gripe. My problem doesn't lie with the amount of money earned on replay (as mentioned in another post) because I've played games with a similar set-up...in that respect at least. My complaint is with the shop itself. As it is now, you don't know if an item is available for purchase or not. Yes, we could just look at the money we earned and find out; however, gamers are "lazy" (using the term loosely, everyone). Not everyone is going to think of looking at their vault. White numbers on the purchase buttons would be greatly appreciated.
GLITCH ALERT: If you buy any of the single upgrade items and then buy them again with the "und" price, your cash becomes "NaN". So, you don't need to keep entering the money cheat, you just have infinite money right off the bat.
In all, very well made (including the perk of not having to accelerate on your own). The worst part is the constant grinding for cash and (to a much lesser extent) missions. If not for the problem of earning money, then I would give it a 5/5 (the missions 3 at a time isn't bad at all, similar to other games). But, as is, I'd have to give it a 4.5/5.
In addition to my other post, the upgrades need a re-thinking. Some, like Eagle Eye, have no purpose. We can upgrade it to infinity and it would still have no effect on the game.
The controls are slow to respond, and the "impossi-gate" is extremely pointless. It's way to hard to get past, but for those that want to, you have to be nearly on the ground and have rockets available for use. It may look nice, but that's about it.
The same thing that happened to senorCoolguy has just happened to me. But to clarify something that he was not sure of, my rate was not affected in any way (even after clicking the background button).
A "sell rocks" option would be nice (i.e. 1 rock=.5 currency), just to give them some use. The other thing I would strongly recommend is to add a crafting guide. As it is, if I go to the blacksmith, I have no idea on what I need to create any item.
