As we accumulate wealth and go to the shop, it would be nice to know how much we have left after we upgrade. This is very useful for those of us who may forget how much we have to work with. The other thing is that, despite the big red "X" over it, we are able to access our houses and build the small cave. I don't know if it was planned this early or not, but I always build everything. (For those who want to try, it's the orange/yellow button.)
I don't mind the lack of upgrades so much as I do the death glitch. If you die, the level keeps going and you play as a "ghost ship" and the only marker is your smoke trail.
It's always great to see changes being made (for the better of the game that is). But now there's one major problem related to the skills. Using them isn't always the problem, but the game doesn't always register the mouse clicks. For example, to use the tail swipe, I end up clickng 10-15 times before it registers that I want it to happen. This gets to be troublesome and tiring as you upgrade that particular power.
The lack of a save system is disturbing, because nobody will want to put in the work and not have that "play for 2 hour" medal after they leave the game. The other issue is the sponsor site link is non-existent, also preventing the award from being given to players.
I want to say I like it and the previous ones... but I really can't. You still can't shoot mid-jump (as people have mentioned in all of them and never gotten a fix for it); and if you magically jump over an exit, you have no way of completing the level. I did this by grinding the first level a couple of times to repeat the 5k reward, bought the 3rd cart, got the second engine and flew past the exit... a GENEROUS 2/5 for now
A few suggestions: 1) it needs translation for those of us who don't know french; and 2) there needs to be some kind of point to it, meaning "how do you beat the game"... just my opinion though.
1) Message received. We're working on the translation, we just need to rework a few assets for it.
2) I don't get your point, sorry. :[ The point of the game is to get the best score possible. In our original plans, we had a storyline with a witch demanding hearts for releasing the princess, but the Global Game Jam was too short to implement it.

Just noticed this, Death (and some challenge waves) have a 1-hit k.o. glitch. I know I've made several posts, but I enjoy seeing games made by you guys. They are always fantastic and we can't let that slip now, can we.
I have graphics now (when "standing" still) but the character disappears with all weapons being fired across the top of the screen. And I have to agree with furry, it plays well.
If you stop moving, it glitches out to a blank screen. I've tried refreshing, clearing my history/cache, and switching browsers (from i.e. to firefox and it didn't even load there).
A minor bug that I've seen a few times now, but occasionally an attack will occur and it will show positive damage (+20 instead of -20). When the attack is on the player, there is no difference (gained or lost damage). Has anyone else noticed this?
This is a small visual bug that crops up very rarely that I'm trying to pin down. The game is attaching the wrong display text box (which defaults to +/- 20 for sizing purposes) but can't update it because it's trying to update the right one. I'll get it soon!
