Soooooo... when do you start getting xp? It's a part of most RPG games and here (at least, before finishing the bank robbery) I don't seem to be getting a single point of xp. Seeing XP IS a part of the status screen I have to ask. Though there is the possibility that I accidentally skipped that one paragraph where it was explained.
Hmm... no Experience upgrades for the effectiveness of science production? The rest just seems a bit underwhelming. Or are there experience upgrades which have more criteria than "have gained an experience point" before they show up?
White text in a grey area with a white background. I'm no GUI developer but you'd think that during basic testing someone would've gone "No, this looks terrible. I can barely read anything without squinting." It's even better due to the fact that the tutorial message overlay gives the text a darker color which looks just fine.
@Moorgan Although I don't suffer from the issue you mentioned but I think it's a fairly nice suggestion. There's just the slight issue of the game being updated, then you'd have to download it again.
Small suggestion for the class menu: add 4 smaller squares to each of the 3 slots which represent the 4 possible choices and don't use a confirmation button. Clicking 3 times for each class gets fairly repetitive if you ask me.
I think this is a really interesting idle game, sure as hell beats the "build *something*, wait for money to build more and move on to the next tier" type of games. Wish I could do a bit more than click on runes. Oh, one request I do have: Can you add something to automatically gather the rune caches (at a reduced rate)? I've only seen them twice, and I didn't click the first one (didn't know you were supposed to beforehand).
Completed the game and I've seen the pinata power-up a grand total of two times. Does it only show up till you've completed the pinata mission or are the odds really that low?
For adding a bit to my previous comment: buying the 1000th level of Chompy costs 1.06AF and buying the 1001st level costs 310 AF. Not what I'd consider a normal hike in price.
Moved the purchase buttons for “Auto-Collect” to the tools panel, and added some tiers to it.
So the tiers are actually just the old one + its upgrade? Damn, I was hoping for a bigger autocollect basket.
Is it intended that, after your heroes finish off the enemy hero, the enemy army's charge bar suddenly speeds up just as much as your own army's charge bar?
That is not intended, but I can't even seem to reproduce that. Any way you could put this in the bug report forum? Perhaps you could also use a screen recorder so we can possibly see for ourselves (sometimes this helps a ton)?
Would adding something to increase experience gained from quests be an option? I know that there's already something which cuts down the time required to complete a quest, this would be separate and thus boost each other.
That is a pretty good suggestion. I will add it to the list. I think if we did this, though, that we would probably have to scale the experience per level. Currently, it is 100xp per level. Balance is always tricky.
Oof... I keep pressing space. Game's neat, but I'd like it if the controls were on two different rows, for example QWE and ASD or something. And the reset button being somewhere else.
