Good game... got the first two achievements and the challenge in ~three tries until I noticed the led in the chat was red... grrr. Have them now though: but the impossible is in a land far, far away. 4/5
Lawl. For anyone still not knowing (so Casaz05 in particular), the creator of this game is also the creator of the Monochrome series. Just an own spin-off, and lol it is.
I don't know, but I've seen more comments that the game does not follow the game's rules and moves. I had one bug that my opponent was checkmated... while he wasn't. Other than that, castling just works by moving Ke1-g1 which is normal, promotion by either pawn to the back rank works, although only a Queen is available. It's perfectly playable, but the engine is very bad, that's all.
This actually resembles Stratego more than it does Chinese chess, unless you have it based on a variant I do not know. Yet, the execution of the game is quite good. 4/5
Great stressor game, especially when the screen turn unnatural doomwalled-red :). Nice idea, well executed. The only drawback is the somewhat indirect control system, making stuff like supereggs and other special places very hard to reach. Part of the game as well, I'd say. 4/5, great job.
What the hell to those people saying that another game should have a badge?? What kind of rating criteria is that? The rating is about the GAME, and not about the card or badges, which I see too many... I've joked about it but never put it into the rating... that's so frikkin dumb. 4/5 for Amberial 2: good improvement, still the same great graphics, a bit more challenging, it only misses a replay valuie, but that's rare for a flash game anyway.
Great potential, but as said, the game is boring. Especially because of greg and his very annoying badges (these special were there to play one of them, or even just a while, thank you, thank you). 4/5 overall, just for the idea and execution, with the exception of the boringness.
I have a question though: what the heck are the second battle badge types? I have never gotten either of the three.
WOAH! Got it The Impossible badge is actually pure patience, with some luck regarding powerups (smaller bat + more balls = ftl). Great game, well executed idea (with some laggy controls at times) and great music (with a horrible loop >_>). 4/5, the -1 for the controls and music loop.
Plain, simple, great music., great overall. It had many potential for more stuff (powerups, different shapes, etc), but it's the simple concept that makes this game worthwhile, with of course that fitting music.
I agree with everyone saying you shouldn't just go for horizontal speed. Till 1:30 or so you can actually use mutiple tricks and some luck based factors (Schooled, Extensions) to extend your mutiplier up to ~16. Now, build horizontal speed which goes much faster parrallel to your multiplier. But more important, this way of building makes the vital Tail- and Starslides increase your speed much more than with the simple horizontal jumping. Still, just now I was about to fail again due to bad luck when I suddenly did enter a Pluto starslide and rushed up quite a bit higher than the dinner, so whether there is a starslide or not is luck based. But as long as the preparations are correct, this isn't as impossible as it seems.
