Also, completing any quest that recruits soldiers allows you to bypass the cap. Not hugely exploitable, but still a bit odd. Poor guys were recruited but they don't have anywhere to live. T.T
Odd little bug just showed up that I hadn't seen before. After chatting with Em about hellstones (chose the option of capture a demon alive) the extractors window didn't show up. Easy fix, just click on any window and close it as usual, but I hadn't seen that before. Not sure exactly what triggerred it, but I'll keep my eyes open to see if it shows up again.
Kind of weird that going back in time doesn't reset quest cooldowns. :/ Though I guess I can kind of understand why... it would make farming for low level orbs far too easy and exploitable (at the cost of a few dozen hellstones you could get around 25-30 Level 1 orbs in just a few minutes) But still.. If I'm going back in time, then the quest hasn't been completed yet. Just odd, I guess, mostly from a logical stand point.
Any chance we might see an update to the auto quest system to manual disable specific quests? Not much point in those militia recruitment quests when you are usually sitting at capped troops (not to mention militia become cannon fodder once you cap any other troop)
EDIT: Tutorial popped up even though save was safe. Please ignore complaint in my previous message. Would be nice if that tut was bypassed by players with a save file lol. Gave me a bit of a start.
Played a fair ways into Tier 3, saved and quit... Come back the next day to find the tutorial waiting for me once again. :/ Well, it's still in beta for a reason, right? I like this game so far, so keep up the great work. But I won't be playing much until this save feature is fixed. Also, it would be really REALLY cool if the museum sorted by number of mutations instead of binary values.
Corporal, I seem to have discovered a punctual error within the simulation. When attempting to call explorers home (AKA Prestige) there is an unneccesary period after the word Explorers. (Anyway, great game, and I love the feedback! Keep up the great work, Corporal! 4/5 for now, but this game is getting better with each patch, and will likely be a 5/5 soon!)
Commander, your ability to spot punctual errors is gigantic. We need to be very careful here. In the case you discovered a singularity, it will have a big impact even if we only change a friction. I'll take care about it myself to avoid any universal damage. Furthermore thank you for your kind words, you now how to motivate people. I'll update this simulation until you are ready to give me 6/5. Sincerely Corporal Tutnix.
Nice little project you've got going here. Curious to see if updates will improve things. (E.G.: Multi-Buy Upgrades; Predictive Aiming, meaning turrets will aim for where the enemy will be instead of aiming directly at them, and sadly missing in later levels; More detailed information for each turret; etc)
I think the only complaint I have is no scientific notation. Not a huge issue for most games, but in idles it's a nice addition. Would it be possible to add an option to switch?
Turned noob for 20 seconds and used a walkthrough to get past 23, but got through the rest easily (I only looked up the first move on 23, but still had to rely on a walkthrough for it :/ )
Blew through everything up to 23 no guide... Now I'm crawling through the comments begging for help T.T Been stuck on this puzzle for literally an hour... I swear, I've tried everything T.T
Small bug - if you open Settings then click News and try to close the settings menu the news menu closes instead, despite being behind the Settings window. Little odd thing I noticed by accident. Keep up the great work!
It'd be nice if we got a little text pop up upon quest completion displaying earnings for that quest like we had in Alpha (and an option to turn it off please and thank you)
Text is a bit hard to see, maybe add a darker/fuller border to all text? Upgrade buttons for Guildians isn't clickable unless you can afford one of the upgrades within, making it hard to check price unless you have enough money to purchase upgrades for that guildian. In the News panel - The two entries about Guild level should not be separate (The entry in parenthases doesn't need a hyphen before it, tiny little thing, but wanted to mention it) Opened Alpha chest and got Quest 14 and 15 cards, seems I can't use them for some time... Bit of a waste to get them so early. Overall, I love this update and am happy to start over, but there are some issues. I'll continue to play off and on and test various things out. Was able to move Guildian Cards easily - no issue on that front as of yet.
Wow, so many people that weren't reading the patch notes -.- Also, didn't wipe my local save. Odd, that. (Unless it automatically downloaded the Cloud Save this time, which I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere)
Random little bug I noticed when logging in for 0.5.3 - Achiev. Pop up for Orange Resources 2, even though I have all 5 for that one. Only Achiev I saw was that one, not a big deal but figured I'd mention it.
Stage 17 no deaths. Found a glitch earlier - After I got Spendthrift - I every time I purchased something it gave me the reward again. This turned into a short lived infinite money bug. Once I reached Spendthrift II I got the reward for that one AS WELL AS Spendthrift I, but after obtaining Spendthrift III the exploit no longer worked. This allowed me to go from struggling to survive against bats to obliterating ghosts with one upgrade set (once I discovered the bug I bought max ammo and scrolls for low cost exploit to test in depth) Beyond this, good game. Good music, decent gameplay. Might be nice to let players know that pressing Ctrl also fires (cursor location, not exploitable in any way so far) Looking forward to updates/sequels.
Thank you for letting me know about the glitch. Ctrl isnt set as fire button, will be removed as such. Its pointless to have a fire button when user can just click with the mouse. New update will introduce 3 new monsters, different location and a new boss. Next update may contain even more weapon choices.
