When playing as an ouro if you go through the bottom wall and eat a pellet while still traveling through the wall, the pellet will glitch and remain in that area.
So I battled my way through everything, conquered every city and I don't get anything at the end...no special item, no congratulations you're the greatest, nothing...huge let down.
Unique and quirky platformer with some mind bending puzzles, however it could have been a little harder, most rooms you can just breeze through.
Also I was disappointed when I left the game and came back to find it hadn't saved my progress.
When your enemy regenerates 300health per turn and is constantly blocking that's not challenging, it's just not fun and if a game isn't fun there's no point playing it.
I've found that using a tank, a dual wielder and a healer work best. You can use the tank to protect the dual wielder which always gets targeted first and the healer not only heals wounds but can also net those annoying shield blocking enemies.
Although it's not entirely relevant, the idea of thumbs up or thumbs down is actually a myth, when a gladiator was to be killed the sign was thumbs up, as in a sword drawn and when he was to be spared, thumbs down, as in a sheathed sword.
Half the goals don't actually work, for example:
Win a battle without losing a gladiator in Tarthus.
Cut 6 arms in one battle in Carthage
Cut 3 arms and 3 legs in Alexandra
When using protect, if the protector uses block and has counter attack, the protector wont jump in front of the protected but the protected still uses counter attack, it'd be a useful glitch if my gladiators limbs weren't getting cut off.
When a goal says "cut" does it mean "cut off" or "disable through force" or "disable" ? Sometimes I won't cut off the limb it'll still grant me the goal and other times when I don't cut off the limb but I still disable it through force and I don't get the goal, is that a glitch or are you just not elaborating on the goals properly?
Another glitch is that if an enemy shield blocks and gets the 5turn block bluff but you then cut his shield arm off, he'll still block as though he has a shield.
Secondly that debuff never counts down properly, it always displays 5turns.
There's a glitch with the "block" and "protect" countdowns. For example if you "protect" someone they'll jump in front of someone for one turn but the counter still says "protecting" for another 2, without it doing anything.
Also when you shield bash it'll display "blocking (remaining 5turns)" but the counter never goes down, staying at 5.
There needs to be some variance in opponent play styles, pretty much every single match is just enemies using variations of 2h, dual wield, or shield and sword and as things get harder their armour improves.
With nine cities with 15 matches per city there needs to be something more to want us to continue after the second city.
