One cool trick I did for the final battle against the king of hell as the ghost rider look-a-like, after I messed up and had to start from scratch a second time, was snipe him at the beginning with a volcanic blast. It makes him head towards you and the angel from the beginning so you can keep sniping him with blasts until he starts dueling the angel. It saves you the hassle of having to replay that entire level if you just want to kill him and move on. And you can apply this logic to any other battle that involves a boss that appears from the start.
You should give all heroes some kind of weaker ranged option they could switch to so that in later levels, when charging into melee would be useless, they can participate in the fight while at the same time keeping them from being overpowered one man armies. It would really be the best of both worlds.
The Europe Challenge is b.s I had it in the bag but my A.I teammate kept taking over my units as I pushed into Russia. How is that fair when I'm on a turn counter?
Hit the "Attack only" option and it means to attack if it's an enemy, but do nothing if it's friendly or an ally. Then you'll never give armies to a teammate.
Wow, you don't even have to complete a game to get the badge. All I did was place an A, A+2, and A+2+3 and I got the badge, now I never have to play this again.
Speaking of suggestions, here's something annoying. I guess I shouldn't have picked to go through the tutorial, but I've been saving up my stuff to build a barracks, and the game is forcing me to spend my money on a tower. I don't want a tower though, I want a barracks, wtf.
I don't know what game "yoeleven" was playing, but I thought the ability to build on the world map was an awesome idea and really helped set this apart from other td games. And you're a developer that responds to suggestions, so great job all around.
GOD DAMNIT! I didn't check the comments before I played. I meticulously spent my shots to make sure I didn't have a low accuracy only to find out that all the ships I let go were for nothing.
Alright, I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but it's really starting to annoy me. Tristam misses more often than any other person in my party, and yet he has the highest accuracy rating. Has anyone else had this problem, it's driving me crazy.
I really wish levels would fade out or something after getting the highest possible score on them. I'm currently trying to go through and redo levels to get the hard badge but I can't figure out which ones I beat correctly the first time and which ones I still have to maximize the steps out on. I know it includes my previous best for each level but that's useless when I don't know what it's out of.
My only complaint is that the main menu is pretty intense and kind of hurt my eyes. I'm playing a puzzle game (an awesome one at that), not attending a rave. Still, 5/5 for good times.
It would be nice if the lockpicking tutorial mentioned you need to press "D" when you find the sweet spot. I've been staring at this lock for 15 minutes before I went over the last stand wiki and found out how the minigame actually works.
trying to do a double jump is god damn awful. Even with the option to skip levels it was way too obnoxious of a mechanic, made the rest of the game pointless to attempt.
