@hypnoticspace that would be a bug if ancient horror said creatures with cost HIGHER than opponent's control power (i.e zero) couldn't attack. But it says lower. Next time learn to read good.
Who the f thought it would be a good idea to let the player continue playing a level they cannot win? I'm referring to spending 50 turns on hard on the sea level, despite there apparently being a submarine still around that I didn't know about. And of course, all I have left is an air unit. That is horrible, horrible game design.
Made it to the sixth level, and every try I've done so far I've eaten every human that has appeared on screen. And I still don't get enough blood to complete the level. I know I'm not a developer, but here's a pro tip: when you give someone a goal to beat a level, you need to also give them the means with which to accomplish that goal. I'm not going to sit here for the next hour hoping your random level generator gives me the means with which to get your arbitrary liters of blood. Good day, sir.
If you make a sequel can you make it so the piranhas eat just from hovering the fish over the victims? My wrist is killing me right now after doing a few levels.
I tried it out, gave it a 3/5 because it was just an average game. There wasn't anything that particularly wowed me, although I will say good job on the graphics. But as an interactive experience it just wasn't that interesting, I mean the most "innovative" thing here is that you have to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time to move which isn't so much innovative as it is annoying. And there's no real reason to go after the achievements aside from patting yourself on the back I suppose.
Long story short: When you submit a game and people critique it, man up. Don't just write off all criticism as "haters gonna hate". Sometimes, people that want to like your stuff are going to hate too and you should listen to those opinions. And a 3.4 is far from something you need to whine about as soon as someone comes to play your game.
No, your concerns are very valid and you opinion is valid as well. I would argue against the 'nothing innovative' aspect. Not necessarily because anything in the game is fully unique, but because there are very few games that give you the genre variety in gameplay that this game gives you, with three seperate environments that have distinctly different gameplay styles. If you aren't used to using the mouse and keyboard at the same time, then it can be annoying that is true. However if you like puzzle games (or even just like to problem solve) this game has challenging and inventive puzzles for you to solve. So we will just have to agree to disagree for now. Thanks for playing!
What the f!@#. I bought a groupie and helmet, then I crashed and lost that? Now I have to buy that shit again while still trying to save up for the insanely priced other items? How is this game not a 1/5?
4/5 Only because it was so short. A sequel to this, with more of everything (upgrades, enemies, different locations) would easily be one of my favorites though.
Another suggestion, besides clicking the mouse instead of space, would be to have turbo activate with click, instead of having to keep your mouse hovered over it during the whole level.
Why the hell would you add a side objective to a mission where you're supposed to save civilians that involves destroying the building they get dropped off in? Now I have to restart the entire mission because I was going after an ambiguous side objective. No thanks.
Was so excited for this sequel... started playing, wasn't bad. Then one game my sanity finally reached zero. "Ooooooo" I said to myself, "I wonder what awesome game changer I'll get this time? Xenophobia? Schizophrenia? Some awesome Megalomania?" Then.... nothing. I just couldn't play cards until I got my sanity back up. I loved the original because sanity was more than just a mana point counter, it actually effected the game and gave it more depth than just "keep beating the enemy with the most cost effective cards." Is this sequel just a cruel joke from the elder gods to make me go insane from withdrawal of a true successor to the original?
I love how the items I get for paying off my dad's debt don't even equate to half of the over 25k I paid off.... wtf, that really disappointed me. I thought rushing to pay that off would entitle me to god gear, not meh gear.
