Great game, but choosing your allies is not original, I mean even Fallout 3 came out before this game...lol. As for flash games Book of Mages already did it too. But I love this style of game so the more the better :)
The hard badge isn't easy, its just luck based. However what you can help is what adventurers you start with; I kept starting new games until it gave me Rouge and Wizard which is a balanced, strong team.
(1/4) Reminds me of Azure Dreams a lot on PS1...Anyways, there are a lot of glitches that actually make this game more have a bit more depth and I got a ton of advice. *Tips* For instance if you attack an enemy, move away, then attack again, you will do damage faster then just standing there waiting for auto attack. The game tries to lock your guy in place to prevent this, but it almost never works. To attack even faster use speed boots. Another trick is the double skill attack. Any skill can be used on an enemy twice in a row. Click the enemy so its picture appears. While you are at least 2 spaces away from the enemy, use whatever skill you want to then your guy will start walking up to the enemy. When the animation begins for the skill, double click the enemy and the skill will go off twice. You can get combo that hits 8 times or even 2 backstabs that can do 1.2k damage! I love using Slash twice, Dart would be proud when ya DOUBLE SLASH! cont'd...
(2/4) If you can't land the backstab, heres how to do it. First way is to just use stealth and waltz up the the mofo and stab'em. The other is to send your pet fight the enemy using the attack command. Once they are engaged you can walk up to the mofo's backside and proceed to stab'em. If you have trouble activating the Lava Generator, heres advice. Letting Fire Elementals attack you will make your hp go up; not sure if it has to do with equipment but its probably just a glitch. I myself had all best shop items. Using this tactic I got over 10k hp and made it to the generator with ease. Beware though! If you level up your hp will plunge back down to what its supposed to be! If you have trouble early game, its usually best to let your pet tank damage because the game throws so many Wild Berries your way, but not any potions for yourself. Just make sure you don't sell them! cont'd...
(3/4) If you have money trouble, screw the money accessory and wait until the Ice level. Selling the Ice Rocks (whatever its called) that drop there will get you a whopping 2,500 gold! I don't know if this was intentional or not because its a ridiculous amount of gold for one item. In my opinion this is the best pet order: Green Dude You Start With > Sand Snake/Scorpion > Wild Scorpion > Frost Scorpion/Ice Elemental > Ogre/Ogre Lord Its pretty much go for poison, frost, then stun. No need to raise more pets than you have to. To level up new pets just make them sit in a corner and then go kill stuff. Try to do this on a map with passive monsters, otherwise watch out that enemies don't spawn by it. cont’d…
(4/4) Got an egg that’ll take forever to hatch? Simply change the time on your computer to make it hatch right away! To farm items really fast, just enter a screen where the enemy spawns next to the entry point, kill it and reenter so it spawns again right away with little movement needed. When fighting more than one monster, just click the monsters one after the other to attack them in quick succession. Rate up these comments that actually help in the game, instead of the same complaints that of been said a million times already. If you want to improve the next version of Castaway post the complaints here (Though the dev has probably heard it all already): http://www.likwidgames.com/forum/thread.php?id=35&postID=4785 …and adding my 2 cents, most under whelming ending ever ._.
