If you think it's the duty of the dev who created this game to fix everyone's computer individually and not go insane you're deluded. The low ratings are unjustified.
I think this game works great as it is like a music video where things start off mundane but gradually get more and more trippy, like something from Smashing Pumpkins or Soundgarden. You can really feel the energy ratchet up nearing the end. Love it :p
I don't know why people are making this game out to be the best thing since sliced bread; it is clearly meant to be a half-assed game, albeit fun. A lot of enemies are palette swaps, the star collectibles were just thrown in and aren't even well hidden or hidden at all, all environments are the same or similar, same music in all stages but at the boss. And the storyline is the dead giveaway its not supposed to be a AAA game, just an excuse for some silly shootin' fun. It does succeed in what it sets out to do, which is be the video game equivalent of a B Movie. It deserves a 4 tops, but no higher.
Very Maplestory-esque in both the art style and the gameplay. Heck, a lot of the skill icons are actually Maplestory skills and items lol. Whats up with the game's title anywho? Castle Quest isn't very inspired...
I noticed there is a Dead Space reference. The Brown Planet has been cracked by the Giant Drill ship which is like the Ishimura, and when it goes into 2nd form it has a sword with the Red Marker on it.
lol I was feeling lazy so I didn't bother reading instructions, upgrading, or summoning, but turns out none of that is necessary to beat the game '-' Just move around while eating planets, the only hard level for me was the twin planet one cuz of the scanner bots. Gotta play it legit now. xD
