while this is better than the original WHY do I have to put up with the steamjapanpunk boss over and over? the third boss was about a million times better than he was. the problem with the recurring boss was that all of his moves were totally unreadable, not to mention the fact that the window of oppurtunity to strike him is miniscule. EVERY. BLOODY. TIME. why, oh WHY couldn't you have made more bosses like the third? hell, that fight reminded me of no more heroes. AND THAT IS A REALLY GOOD THING.
christ, making a song with this bloody riffs system takes way too long. I'm not asking to sound brilliant in five minutes, but in the space of ten I should have a grasp of the system that allows me to plunk out "jingle bells" at least. This is just not intuitive. maybe it helps to be an enthusiast of punk music, but come on. I think it would actually be easier to write a song note by note then with these freakish premade riffs.
the bouncing when you hit a score target, and the gravity acceleration is too slow. aside from that, i liked the physics. The looks, on the other hand... I would have liked a change from the shades of red and grey. I mean, it looks cool at first, but after the second pinball game I kind of want a rest. some bright blues and greens would be nice, and you should ease up on the black.
egh. The strategy is pretty minimal, the graphics are nothing special, the gameplay is not very intuitive, the story is unimpressive. oh, and the music is awful.
