Key design information: When designing a game based on upgrades, ensure that every upgrade feels meaningful. I just spent fifteen minutes grinding materials to increase my stats all of 5 or 10%. I don't really feel any more powerful, and I feel like that time was wasted. This is NOT what you want.
I'm not sure if I can play this, even for the badges. Mr. Sudarto, what happened, man? I used to look forward to games with your name on them. I suppose I should ask Kong the same question.
If I had to venture a guess (no pun intended), while the developers are working on expanding this game, I'm almost certain they're also spending time making the next big thing. Updates have switched from being weekly to every two months. Is my assumption correct, devs?
Shame that this has the classic pay-to-win build. I love everything from the style to the music to the diversity of play, but having to wait for it all... It depresses me that such good game-making resources are being used for evil.
Not a bad game by any stretch. I think that the community is after your heads because you're asking for money, and they expected more of the gents who brought us "Sentry Knight". I know I certainly did. 3/5
Hey Dev, why not talk to some of us who know how to implement assets? I'll fix the bloody game for free if it'll make things work right. It's just too much to waste because you don't know how to store and use and needed.
Hmmm, every single major comment involves only the lag issue, yet you haven't fixed it? This game would be an easy 4 or 5, but for your apathy, I'm giving it a 2 for now.
Late-game adjustment in gold received would make this game a 5/5, but for now 4.5 is a great score. It's good to see originality come out of Kong in the form of design, balance, easy of play, depth of system, and the creativity of the world itself. You've got a new fan, friend.
A solid 4 turned into a 3 by a severe lag issue. This game lacks the depth of the previous. It feels like you took the first game, made it easier, and rebranded it. Fortunately, it's still well-made and entertaining.
I realize that my lower ranking of this game because it asked for money was both selfish and short-sighted. Though I wish you'd made your money through ad space (or a purchaseable version), this is still one of the best picture puzzle games I've ever put hands on. Hats off, and 5/5 to a really great player-based creation system and some absolutely lovely images. Now just make an Android version for $2.99.
For what this is, it's a beautifully retro game with a great Nintendo premise and tight controls. Programme-wise, it's terribly flawed, but something about its design makes me want to support your future endeavors. I want to see the perfected version of this game. 4/5
Recent changes coming to light, I suppose I could reward 100+ free puzzles with a 4/5. You'd have a 5 if there was a way to unlock all puzzles at once with a single payment, rather than this coin complex.
I dread every reset for the 300+ clicks I have to do just repurchasing upgrades. Can you please implement a "buy all" function that purchases everything you can afford? Ask the gents at 'Clicker Heroes' how they did it.
The amount of paid content versus free, and the slowness of accruing coins through normal methods drops this from an easy 5/5 to a 3/5. Let's see if you can't change that somehow.
Seems we could. Coin rewards for both voting and creating puzzles just got doubled! We're also going to add 36 additional free puzzles very soon, for a total of 108. Let's see if you can't change that rating somehow. ;)
At what part do you think I should go all out with the gold? Thanks for the feedback. It's a learning experience.
