A good game with a great sense of humor, but it ultimately lacks depth. The facilities should be tweaked to allow you to upgrade certain aspects of your play ala "skill tree" or somesuch. And ships should have more to them than a sprite and a section of PvP.
Welp, getting attacked so many times between the starting cities that I use all 250 of my rounds is pretty stupid. What's even worse is that I didn't even get halfway. Screw this game. There are better ones now.
My favorite part is where you're winning and then reach your enemies castle so that their reinforcements are instant and they wipe you out since you have no way to retreat to your own castle.
Excellent programming choice. :/
Hmmm, finding enemies is arbitrary, upgrades don't last, are expensive, and do little, your allies can't be healed and don't retain upgrades purchased, and there's no way to replay things and get stronger. Basically, if you mess up, you start over. 2/5
So, the cards you get in battle don't seem to do anything, I have no new options to make stronger soldiers (the last 15 cards were lvl. 2 warriors), and I can't use strategy of any kind to win. I just have to watch my heavily armored units get killed by three archers. :/ 2/5
Welp, I found out why everyone hates Dim so much. Pixel hunting on a physics game is no fun and defeats the purpose of strategizing attacks when your only function is getting a single bomb into a thin crevice. :I
Well, this game takes an enormous amount of time to play and provides little rewarding experience for doing so. Think I'm gonna go back to siege games now.
So, is anyone else just uselessly weak all the time for no reason? The gear does not seem to be keeping up with the enemies when two bats can kill me in the last dungeon.
Why the !@#$ do my people not attack the minotaur?! God !#@$ !#@$!!!! How stupid is this interface that my men will walk past the minotaur and attack a !@#$ing building? Whoever programmed these unit AIs is a God!#$ moron. :I
Hmmm, huge advantage for pay-to-play people. I'm tempted to totally withdraw my Kongregate account at this point. They have become increasingly commercial and less about the purity of the flash game.
Welp, this game is miserably difficult to control and requires an insane amount of grinding. By itself, I'd give it a 3, but compared to launch games like Hedgehog and Penguin, it gets a 2.
And there seems to be no priority for killing. My guy will attack an armor turtle while a cannon one repeatedly shoots him in the face. Terrible programming.
Well, it's a fun concept, but whoever programmed it is a moron. The penguins don't attack the nearest target, they don't go around obstacles, they're basically guided bullets. The magnet is weak, small, and non-upgradeable, the game requires a lot of grinding, and I don't feel like the upgrades do much. 2/5 This could've been so much more.
