Very fun game, would type about the specific awesome-ness of it, but the high rated comments speak well enough to that, so I'll just throw out a point of constructive criticism.
I really like that the screen looks farther in the direction of the mouse when you move it further from GunBot, but I got a little overexcited in some fights and clicked off screen trying to make it look farther away. A more obvious targeting reticle would clear that right up, especially if it glowed or something at the edge of the screen.
If it's about whether the person is smart enough, you shouldn't word the question and answer based on ignorance or lack of consideration. "A large star" is just... wrong.
The recognition thing seems like an opinion -because it is-. I know of all the people in that question, and I picked Eric, because in my opinion Google is that awesome. Tesla was cool, but still. Of course, -that's just my opinion-.
When you population goes up a number, it doesn't count unless it goes above .0. That's why reaching the 15 cap only gives 14 to use. That really should be fixed; getting your next person a year late or not at all sucks.
Battle difficulty rises too steeply, since it really does take forever to get anything started on the planet.
@xensan76 - The top rated comments aren't top rated because they note the illogical things in the game. They're the top rated comments because they're funny.
It worked, but it was incredibly laggy, so much so that the turning jumped and caused me to lose my bearings on several occasions, making it pretty much impossible to reach the exit. If it didn't lag it'd probably be a really good labyrinth. 3/5 for effort and trying to utilize 3D graphics, cause 3D is awesome.
I have to agree with stormy there. It's a four/five star game except for the fact that above 400-500 thousand the leader board stands for who's willing to waste the most time on it, not who's the most skilled.
The game failed to realize all of the monsters in a wave were killed, specifically wave 11 on level 5, and at the end it still didn't realize I had won the level. Anybody else experience that problem? Cause it's starting to seem like the game doesn't like me. v.v;
@bob - Sure you read it right? Cause I didn't have any problems like that. Though the amulet of riches often failed to give me 125% of the normal gold from creatures.
Did anybody else find it ridiculously easy? I winged out once at level 8, then went straight to the bottom. Just wondering if that's a common thing or if I got really lucky on items and what-not.
The music is absolutely wonderful and it complements the overall energy of the game perfectly. This is a prime example an intelligent, artistic flash game. If only we had a category for artistic games... (Before you shoot it down realize "It always gets shot down" is not a valid argument against, considering that's the only reason it seems to get shot down now.)
Apparently not everybody read the update regarding badges. Anyway, Dog, it's hardly a disappointment when it's a spectacular game regardless of badges, you did try to implement the api, and you're working on a sequel that can have badges. We Kongers may be badge whores, but we're understanding badge whores.
I agree that stackers suck. Why not get your exp by -actually playing- rather than -pretending to-? Sure it's slower, but the point of a game is -to play it-, not just to get a high level. Levels are more of a bonus for -playing- for a while.
If the thief is a good assassin, which if he's an expert with fire arms he probably is a good assassin, then the police don't even know he exists. At the very least they don't know any of his criminal habits or of his fire arms expertise.
I have a strange feeling that when I used chimera on my two colossal dragons it added in my dead Armagio, and it got my ueber dragon killed in one turn by my opponent's army, literally costing me the game. Not cool.
@qazzaq123 - Thanks, I had no idea there was a difference between level 6 AI and a player. Really. No shit players take longer because you're connecting to a different computer. That's why I don't want to face prebuilt decks with rigid strategies. -That's essentially AI.- In PVP I want to face actual people who can think and put together their own winning decks.
And Greyfox - The danger of pillar drought or pillar flood is something you need to intelligently consider in the construction of your deck and the number of pillars you have in it. More pillars = lower chance of few to none in the first draw, higher chance of 7 in the first draw. Think, don't whine.
I love the game, but I got a beef with some of the players.
I don't care if you go look up the guides to get rich quick and beat the false gods down. I don't care if you copy paste the decks there and use the strategies given to you. If that's the only way you can win, good for you. But if you are a deck cloner, -stay out of PVP-. When I go into PVP I want to face intelligent players who have the ability and drive to develop their own decks and working, -fluid- strategies. If you're cloning a given deck and playing a given -rigid- strategy you might as well be AI and playing you in PVP is a waste of my time cause you're just slower than playing the real AI.
So again, if you're gonna play PVP be a real player, don't cheat them.
