It's a good game underneath the lack of development, so that said here's some critique - Obviously, your graphics need some work. Next I suggest refining your collision detection. Also, either made sideways moving platforms carry you or add a warning that they don't. Consider adding a checkpoint every 5-10 levels. As easter suggested, bonuses and more enemies would be great. Can't think of anything else right now. Good luck with future games.
I don't know how it possibly seemed like a good idea to skip on a restart button on a game like this. Sure, you're fast on your way to 2,000,000 plays, but I am incredibly annoyed with you for making it too troublesome to get the badge of the day.
The music is fun, but the player square is kinda hard to see and most of the pink dots spawn so close to the edge of the sage area that you have to be almost perfect to get them, and even then you might miss.
Hotkeys may hurt the current balance, but the current balance is less than favorable. Keep in mind the computer is using all of it's guys at once while players are limited to one at a time, and when you click your guy that requires aiming to attack and fail to click the target three times it totally kills it. The game needs hotkeys so we can efficiently use multiple guys.
To anyone who thinks this game needs a hard badge - There is nothing in this game worthy of a hard badge. Even all 20 achievements is only medium material. I mean, maybe "Survive 3 months" but I don't think it'd be hard by then either, just time consuming. All that aside, this game is really fun. It needs a medium difficulty, hard, and nightmare added.
This is really fun, but my framerate consistently drops to zero whenever there's a large number of small things, severely restricting me from the things I want to do. Would be a 5; I give it 3.
Ridiculously entertaining - 4/5. One point is or the music alone. Some advice though. A lot of Kongers are already annoyed by games where you have to decide between playing on Kong and getting full features, so as you may have noticed putting a full third of the playable game, not just features, on another site makes them mad and unlikely to go to the other site.
@zerocreature - Other strats aren't pointless, they just require a little more thought, and are more than little more elegant. Also, if you're not careful with your rapidly cut tentacles you can easily offer up your microbe to the enemy without realizing it. Usually to purple.
I gotta say, the music for this game is okay, but it's a lot more exciting with some high-energy frantically paced techno. (See what I did there? I bet you do. XP) In any case, absolutely fantastic game. I love the graphics especially.
The control system needs one change that can't be done in game as is. The mouse should pan without holding the left button, so that button can be fire. Makes for much more natural control. Having to hit ctrl to fire requires using the same hand as for movement (because mouse panning is indispensable), and that just feels awkward.
This game has potential for some good badges. For example: (Medium - Complete Story Mode) (Hard - Score 2,500,000 in Survival Mode) (Impossible - Collect 4,000 notes in Survival Mode) + this if you agree.
People in anger management should be forced to play this game until they get under 100 deaths. Each and every one will realize that compared to this, there's not a thing in the world worth getting mad at.
