Very cool shooter. A nice break from the more painfully difficult ones on this site. In case no one has posted it yet, the special is more powerful than it may seem at first. The way to do a lot of damage with it is to stand directly on a boss so that all of its bullets hit at once. This does a nice chunk of damage even to Kobalt. It's more than worth the damage you may take.

Got all the way up to Mad Dog. Clicked play. Stop to eat my damn sandwich. The game fires the cannon without my input at 0 power after about four seconds. No. I don't play games that troll me and make me start over because of stupid crap like that. If you're going to force the player to restart after every death, you should at least make sure his losses are his own fault.

...but I got it anyway. Perhaps it is, and it just seems harder than it is because of how much attention it demands. It took me a few days of trying a few times and quitting in frustration before I figured this out.

This is not a medium badge.

Fun concept, but the game has some terrible design problems. The difference between winning and losing is, more often than not, how much time the penguins decide to spend walking into a rock. Making them unable to move around obstacles and then allowing turtles to both spawn behind and fire over said obstacles is frankly cruel to the player, who has no real solution other than to bomb problem enemies as they turn up. Bombs should, for the sake of both fairness and realism, be able to destroy rocks, bushes, cacti, etc. I understand that this was made in a single day, but IMO including some means to prevent the penguins from getting hung up on the environmental decoration should have been a priority. Still, entertaining at least, which is remarkable enough considering the time spent on this.

The first game was always one of my favorite games on this site. Good to know you're still around. This is even better than the first. The only "problem" I may have is that my two cutters eventually became unstoppable. Even your ultimate team was annihilated on the first try with no deaths. I had a kid who just sat around wishing he, too, was dual wielding katanas and throwing knives everywhere for 60+ damage. Perhaps the other classes become just as insane with levels, but I was distinctly unintimidated by any enemies other than cutters and bruisers. Excellent game, can't wait to see more from this developer.

For the sequel of such a cool first installment, this is a vast improvement. The gameplay remains essentially the same; jumping around platforms of ever-increasing height in search of an exit while shooting anything that gets in the way. However, the sense of actual progress and the addition of a storyline to follow lend weight to the experience, and this is much easier on the nerves than the first game. It would have been nice to have the spread gun in the original...o-o

I GOT IT. I GOOOOOTTTTT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT. If I have any advice for others who are attempting this remarkably challenging (but satisfying) hard badge, it's to never give up even when it looks hopeless e.g. you have four hearts left at 300 meters. Much of the game's difficulty comes from a couple of particularly difficult random "level" generations, and you can go from 300 to 1000 with only a hit or two if you get lucky. Also, I really found it easier to concentrate without worrying about the mouse at all - it's not like you have time to aim at anything. Good luck.

The big problem I have with this is that the game will not let you slide a piece under another one; the moment one block touches another one it's out of your control. This makes S and Z blocks (which are the most annoying types to begin with in Tetris) exceedingly frustrated to work with. The question that keeps coming up in my mind is: what do you do? What do you do if the game decides to throw a bunch of S and Zs at you?

Very cool. I don't mind the timing elements, though there are a few levels in which they are quite frustrating e.g. and especially level 35. I too have been unable to "clear" the 5th auto level because the green ball rolls downwards rather than up when it hits the circle in front of the clump of balls on the far right, and flies into nothingness. The level either needs replaced or adjusted (or is it the point? The name seems to hint at trying the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result...)

Very difficult but fun. The hard badge is definitely one of the more challenging to get on this site. The game demands so much of my hands that wrist pain is a serious obstacle after 600 meters or so, and I eventually made better progress by pressing F and ignoring the mouse altogether. Very fun, but not for the easily frustrated or those with weak wrists.

Very fun platformer. Never had any problems with hitboxes, etc. personally until the last boss, whose missiles might be a bit difficult to deflect with the sword. Fortunately, he dies almost instantly to bombs, so this is not an issue. I was a little underwhelmed with the combat, never having to upgrade my health a single time, but that hardly matters; the rest of the game is excellent.

Awesome game. I love the free spirited feel of it. Unlike most platformers, the player is not obligated to take any particular path or get all the world-shatteringly important thingmabobs in any particular order. It's really cool that such unique and replayable games are on here.

I went back and got it. Very good game, but you have to be careful with that restart button. Is there anything to do after beating Clive or does it just endlessly repeat?

I thought I would never see another game like MotherLoad that was even half as good. This actually solves many of its spiritual predecessor's problems e.g. the ridiculously fragile ship, the addition of more than one planet, and a far more interesting upgrade system. Awesome job, you rock.

May not bother with the badge. Why is that restart button even there? Is that an intentional troll? I've lost two gatling guns because of reflexively hitting "restart" before I consciously realize that's the "HAHA U DO EVERYTHING AGAIN" button.

Beating the first level is a hard to impossible badge by itself. I've about given up. The balls flicker so that it is often impossible to see all of them on the road, and many of my deaths have been from running into a ball that is placed above or in front of the only gap near the elephant. My reflexes are admittedly absolutely terrible, but I finished many levels of MoneySeize and got the Meat Boy impossible badge through sheer determination; with this, it seems that I get the best results just by moving to the right half of the screen and hoping the balls never spawn on the elephant's butt (hasn't worked so far). Retrying makes no difference on how well I do over time. BTW, this is indescribably harder than Meat Boy. At least the action there moves slowly enough for the player to tell what is going on.
