This is easily my favorite launch game on Kongregate so far. It can hardly be understated how much I love this. Evolution is an ingenious concept for a game like this, man! What you get is even influenced by your upgrade choices. It tries to adjust your creature to your playstyle, and has been doing a pretty good job at that so far for me. I never get the feeling that I am grinding, which is particularly outstanding in a launcher. This is not among those more questionably-designed games where the rewards are too low and one seems required to repeat lousy runs ad nauseam in order to make any progress. You get visible improvement on every launch here, generally, in my experience. On the side, I wonder if Pichin is based at all upon the character Pommy in Bomberman 64: The Second Attack; they look similar in their base forms and both have many possible evolutions throughout the game. 10/10, quite special IMO.

Oh, yes. By the way, you CAN "win". Just realized it may not be obvious. Yeah, if you for some far-out reason decide to figure out the game well enough, you can progress through the levels until you get a little congratulations screen. It's after "Sky Devil". Fair warning to those masochistic badge hounds that go after this one; that is your last chance to try for 7000 meters! Whether you beat the average distance or not, you will be sent back to the start afterwards. Player beware. I'm certainly not going to slog through that again after learning this the hard way.

Well...I actually came back years later and beat this piece of crap, but still no hard badge. Better hope your launches are perfect on the last level, folks, because 7000 is actually much more than you need and you don't keep the money you get from "winning"; nope, you get sent straight back to the start with 0 bucks. It feels just like losing, except you get a different game over screen. Have fun! In case it's not obvious, I loathe this game, and have ever since I got kicked out of the hard badge the first time by daring to stop for a few seconds to eat a sandwich between launches. This has not changed. 0.01/10; don't waste ten or twenty minutes of your life on this one, people. It'll rob you of them just like it will rob you of the badge and any satisfaction you may have in victory.

While entertaining for a while, IMO this launch game is too dependent upon the RNG and requires a bit too much grinding to obtain a decent amount of money. Rewards for paying real money actually don't bother me, but in this case they are huge and prominently advertised; one is constantly reminded that the game would be less of a slog if you paid up, which is likely intentional but may feel a bit obnoxious to some players. 7/10; I appreciate any game that proves fun, so I won't trash this at all. It's just not one of the better launch games on the site IMHO.

I obtained the badge in just enough time. "Only" got enough to obtain a parachute on the first day, and actually had an abysmal second day. I just got decent luck on day 3 and unusually good on day 4, using my parachutes to stay in the air for as long as possible, grab coins, and hope for the right platforms. That's really all this badge is: hoping for the right stuff to spawn on the screen. It's entirely possible to not obtain any money at *all*; it even happened to me on a couple of runs. Gold coins and platforms, and to a lesser extent green platforms, give so much money that whether you can get the badge or not depends a great deal on how many, *if* any, the game decides to spawn. Have fun, folks.

Great game, cruddy badge. You're essentially restarting ad nauseam for abnormally good RNG, which IMO is not something to base a reward around.

Haha! I struggled for almost 50 days on the first level until I discovered that one does not have to beat it in order to unlock the better vehicles. Actually restarted so I could try for a half-decent time. 10/10 as always. I didn't know school buses were secretly so rad cool.

I love the simple fun of this series. It really goes for miles without any gimmicks or distractions, pun intended. Grinding is minimal; you can complete any of these games within an hour, and at no point do they seem to hit a dull slump. The details are hardly logical, but I don't think it ever sets out to be an epic, realistic setting and story. The point is running over zombies and attaching turbo boosters and guns to aging everyday vehicles. At this, the game does a stellar job. 10/10 on the entire series, still playing years later.

Another solid addition to Kongregate's selection of shooters. It's very basic, but that means it's also easy to get into and finish. That the levels are short and enemy health bars not needlessly large is a nice touch as well; you don't need to make a large investment of time to complete the game. Does what it sets out to do quite well.

Delightful. Absolutely freaking delightful, man. The yarn is far too much fun to play with. I just accidentally made Mr. Sushi Cat *almost* too large to fit into the exit boxes. Almost. Was worried for a moment. You can't save the world if you're too fat to get out the door, kitty.

I hate to say it, but the more I play this, the more I feel it's a downgrade from the previous game. The physics are certainly more obnoxious. There's hardly any need for a zero gravity race in the game considering how weightless everything feels in general. There are numerous races with extremely steep cliffs, and it's very easy to run straight up them and make no forward progress at all due to how buoyant one is. Boost feels weak because so little time is spent actually on the ground. I'm still giving it 5/5 on its own merit, but it's a major slog compared to the previous installment IMO.

It's too bad that the statistics of each bike are mysteriously absent. Yes, the joke that Rocket Panda forgot his rockets is funny, but it tells me absolutely nothing about him. If you're going to go to the trouble of listing every bike here with commentary, why *not* provide stats? The rest of the guide is quite helpful.

Great game. I absolutely hate minigames, however, and am not sure if I will bother with them to obtain the hard badge. If I wanted to play asteroids, I would play asteroids. Other than that, everything is lovely.

This is easily one of the funnest and best games on Kongregate. Controls are good, lots of content, a nice variety of levels; no complaints at all really, except for two small things. The pickup levels are annoying IMO and I saved most of them for last. More than that, though, is just the final level. One of the AIs is given a massive speed boost such that even if the one of the slowest racers in the game, e.g. the Bowler Brothers, receives it, they will be faster than an unboosted Sir Colin. You have to boost far ahead of them and avoid crashing, which can be decided by which pixel you land on in this particular level. I even experience some crashes that apparently had no cause. The game is fun up to the challenge of getting first here, and then is rather frustrating for that one, final stretch. 5/5.

The game is finished, and all gold medals were obtained. There is one particular type of material which is the source of most, if not all frustration in this game. It cannot be crushed, it cannot be burned, it does not conduct electricity. It is immune to corrosion and freezing. It floats in mid-air if all support is removed. Not even the gigantic wormhole or the enormous boulder obtained by winning the game and obtaining every gold medal, respectively, will do anything to this material. Dim loves it, and it shows up in other places as well if I am not mistaken. It really is bothersome in a game that is generally about crushing castles. In short, to those badge hounds who wish to get gold on every level in this game, I strongly suggest focusing on progressing through the game until it is finished and you are given the wormhole. This will make all medals trivial, even ones that heavily abuse the aforementioned physics-defying, indestructible material.

I'll write a more thorough review when I'm done with this. Just wondering why Ormik was voted down into oblivion. Perhaps "doesn't work" is the wrong choice of words. The problem is that the solution is incredibly obvious, but its execution may or may not have the desired result depending on what pixel you happen to land on. I could imagine someone being half a millimetre off and repeatedly getting different results until they decide that it may well be impossible. Not sure how many tries it took me, personally.

Simply put, in many levels this is not a puzzle game. Pendulum is a perfect example. The solution is clear, but the execution of it is a test of one's speed and precision with a mouse, not their ability to solve problems. My hand and finger dexterity is very poor due to nerve damage, and a good puzzle can allow me to enjoy a game without that being a major obstacle. This is not one of those games. A fine concept, however.

Kong does not allow for the editing of comments on games. My apologies for the triple post. After reading more about other players' experiences, I wonder if I simply had the *potential* to do more than 500 damage at some point in time. I really do not know.

As an aside, many complain about the medium badge, and indeed, more people have trudged through the game to get the hard badge than have obtained this one. I somehow got it, even though the game stated that my hero never did more than 230 damage or so. Why this is, I am not sure, but if you are tired of looking for the right weapon to randomly drop, try doing what I did and raising intelligence along with art of war and patriotism as high as possible, and buying units that do a large amount of damage themselves. It's possible that the badge does not distinguish between your allies' attacks and yours as long as something does at least 500 damage. It's also possible that the game doesn't know what it's talking about and that I did, in fact, do 500+ damage at some point. It is something to consider if, like me, you do not relish the thought of doing random encounters until just the right sort of equipment appears.
