Want the impossible badge? Seven Circles is unlocked just by getting a few clear points--around 20, I think. Eight Circles can only be unlocked by starring Seven Circles, which means getting 95% on it--something you have to do for the badge anyway. If you can star Seven Circles, you'll be ready for Eight Circles--well, almost. You'll have to play it through a few times, as it has a few traps and one particularly nasty string of notes. As for Dash Hopes 3, simply get an A on both Isabel and Hypnotic Crisis on Crazy mode. (If you can star Seven Circles, this should be no problem.) Like Eight Circles, it will probably require you to play the song through a few times, but getting 80% on Dash Hopes should probably be the easiest bit of the badge. ...Oh, and thumbs up if you really want a translation/subtitles for Cirno's Perfect Math Class. Damn, is that song catchy.
Guys: TaroNuke has explained this already if you read the game description. Crazy stars are achieved by scoring 95% or more on a song on "crazy" difficulty. If you get 98% or more, you double-star the song (i.e. you receive two crazy stars) and 100% means you triple-starred it.
While playing RotterDAMN, I couldn't help but look at the background. The words "Seizure much?" kept popping up in the background, and I thought to myself, "Who do they actually expect to have a seizure from looking at this?" I then noticed the OTHER phrase that kept flashing on and off while the song played: "You! [Because you're screwed]". I realized that it was all a clever ploy to distract my attention, but too late: I failed the song and had a seizure--of frustration. Well played, RotterDAMN, well played.
What is success? Success is disobeying the game and slicing off the spider's legs straight in the beginning of the level...and STILL clearing the level anyway.
Interesting little game. I'm not gonna say unique--It's very Canabalt-esque--but it's taken that sort of idea and nicely expanded upon it, with powerups, skills...and llamas! :D
I love all the sarcastic comments on RPGs in this game. ("Tseret Nievol," the girl that Kliche (cliche, duh) meets at the beginning of the game, becomes "Love Interest" if spelled backwards and if you change the spacing a little.) 5/5.
For those of you guys that are absolutely determined to get the badges: For Devil's in the Details, you actually can lose one round to Satan as long as both your winning rounds are perfect ones. I find that spamming Moses's Stone Tablets of Fury attack is the best way to get two perfect rounds.
I love love LOVE this game...but my only problem was that I got the special star and everything, for fun, way back before it had badges, and now I really don't feel like doing that again.
