Got to lv 18...this is a really creative game. Like Yin said, it forces the player to keep changing their strategy. Much like "Don't Look Back," this game proves that simplicity is everything.
This game. Was. Hard. I'm not even positive why I finished it, but after lv 30, I suppose, I decided I was going all the way. Just about killed myself, but the badge is mine.
Not bad, not bad. 93 restarts on Insane. Mostly this was because of the first bit, actually, because of the sometimes unfair jumble of spikes due to the random factor. The last part actually had literally impassable bits if you were extremely unlucky, but it wasn't so bad. I rate 5 for the sheer epicness.
The prices actually are reasonable, you're just supposed to purchase everything in order and you gain money exponentially. By the time you have tank and golden gun you get some $500,000 with every launch. Buy a bunch of nukes once this has happened, they'll help bail you out during your quest for the 3 million-foot launch distance. Basically, Blast off via tank, shoot with golden gun every time he drops below 1000ft in air, and then drop and search for ammo, using nuke to bail you out if you bounce too low.
Simple enough, addictive game. I launched myself over 530Km without using the golden gun or any nukes, so don't whine about how the hard badge is impossible. It's not. I votes 5!
Hmm. Okay concept. Not terribly hard to beat; even the boss couldn't be called anything more threatening than mediocre. The hardest any level got was when there were like two dozen monsters that swarmed you at once (some upper-40s level). Seriously. The replay value is rather low, and it's not really difficult by most standards, so I'll give it a 3.
Geh. The level 36 boss irritates me. My strategy is to dodge its attacks till it lets loose with its minions, Duck Death to crush them all, then barrage it with 4 Homers. I use Slow Time to help dodge its circle spin/shot attack. Big Laser also works instead of 4 Homers if you're really rich. So if you're stuck on that one, hope that helps.
Lol! This game was pretty funny. It tries to trick you a lot but it's actually stupid-easy as long as you have the patience to hold down the right key until after the boss is finished...which also requires you to hold down the right key. Basically, throughout the game, NEVER. LET. GO. OF. THE. RIGHT. KEY. It's that simple.
Finally, the "I Ran So Far Away" Badge is mine...I must've done the last two levels about a hundred times. Just about fried my brain. An ok game overall, a bit glitchy though and with rather low replay value. I'd give it a 3.5/5, but I'll round up and rate 4.
