The harm done from the hero falling off a giant is far too great to leave it to completely random chance in my opinion. Too many times I'd be doing great for 3/4 of a level, then all of a sudden my hero decides to dip his hands in butter before repeatedly trying to mount a dragon.
Freemium game techniques should be implemented as a model for customer acquisition, not as a model for sustained revenue -_-
Getting pretty tired of energy bars.
I don't get it, are my towers getting tired and taking naps?
Also, what's the deal with enemies HP bars going UP when being hit sometimes(though it doesn't seem to affect their health)?
Necro -- Kongregate and GameStop do not retain any rights to your game, even if you decide to release it as Kongregate exclusive. The only right reserved is that to refuse payment if you start uploading it all over the place.
Necrodermis-- I'm not saying that I don't ad block to some degree (I use RefPolicy, thought I have it disabled for Kong) but you do realize that you're simultaneously complaining about them reducing payouts to devs while telling people how to actively block ads which reduces payouts to devs.
I played this a while back on another site (I'm a TD junkie, what can I say) and I'm having the same emotional response to it now as I had then. Trying to keep track of the position and health of all 3 of your extremely fragile units, while simultaneously trying to manage the health and state of your towers while simultaneously trying to scour the battlefield for easily passed-over cash boxes, while simultaneously trying to manage skill cooldown is one too many things to keep track of. It's 3 too many things to keep track of. Apart from that, however, it's a pretty solid game. I'd be interested if there was a sequel(whether in the Expendables franchise or not).
The no money for killing after restarting map bug seems to be due to some tower objects not removing themselves on reset. The towers remain but are still linked to the last gameplay session, and don't pass kill $$$ along to you. If you place another tower in front of it you'll notice that you get money for that tower's kills. Interestingly, pausing the game doesn't affect the ghost towers, so if an enemy is in front of one, you can pause the game and take a day to kill it.
That's power..
