Jeez, so much work for a pack of friggen biscuits! I mean, instead of paying 20k to your arch-nemesis for the biscuits, pay 5 bucks at Wal-Mart. Seriously.
Very difficult at times. Great game, and the 3D aspect is interesting, and at times, challenging. Levels seem slightly easier when you learn how the puzzle designer thinks. For instance, many levels that have many colors involve several simple lines with one more long and complex line. I am slightly dissappointed in how the last level was relatively easy compare to a few others. I was hoping for a grand finale to prove my intellectual awesomeness (which I dont acually have...) 4/5
Dont take the test too seriously guys. It's a rough estimate. The game gave me an IQ that was 12 points lower than it acually is. So it's close, but not perfect. To truly test IQ, you have to test planning, plan revision, thought processing, etc, and you really need a human to grade the test. 4/5, its a nice way to estimate.
I posted a tutorial in the General Gaming forums. Its kinda long, but has sections, so you can just look up the info you need. It's titled Help for Bureau of Steam Engineering. Ya, I know. Really original.
4/5. I figured out how some components work, and the game shows promise, but it is just to blasted confusing without a tutorial. Im going to keep fiddling with this game and see if I cant type up a tutorial on comments.
A nice, original puzzler. I wish there were more levels. The only thing i felt should be improved on was that there seemed to be a lack of motors and generators. 4/5
"It's a dead body!" Well, ya, giant pool of blood is kind of a tip off. Also notice how some guards yelled "Kill him!" while others realised that their fellow guards where idiots, and yelled the more descriptive "Shoot him!" I was just waiting for someone to yell "He's hiding!" And my personal favorite: "The Boss is dead." What? No exclamation point? Where's the enthusiasm? "Boss is dead... again. D@mn it, why does this always happen to us?" Those guards need to look into another line of work, 'cus they go through bosses faster than a Superbowl party goes through chips. 5+/5, really great game. Ultimate Assassin 3 coming out sometime?
I dont get why people complain about not having avatar-evolution. But it does. The evolution just doesn't occur in-game. Also, you get to make the tank your way; you don't just choose a pre-made tank. I really love the BT series, and I can't wait for BT3. 5+/5
I really need to stop looking at the new games. I always think that something might be good, and i end up playing this stuff. Don't bother playing it. Another trashy game.
Gets slightly boring after kill #17568. Oh, I STILL haven't unlocked all the combos? Nah, i'm kidding. it's a fun game and im gonna keep playing it. Sort of funny, though. For 115 minutes during medium, i just left the game running and did other stuff. Came back, and i hadn't lost any lives. I decided to end the game and start a new one
1 more thing (Ya, i know i'm taking up comment space; sorry. My comments will disappear with new comments) Warning to new players (like the first thing they do is check comments) The only 2 potentially major bugs is 1, that the controls are sticky. It's fairly common for me to simply tap the left or right directional arrows and have the game send my fighter into an infinite spin-out, or press the firing buttons for a single shot and have the game try to deplete my ammo or energy. If this happens, just press the same key down again, or if you tried to turn, you can press the opposite directional arrow. Two, the locking script is pretty buggy. I wont lock on upon hitting my max range. I have to travel 500-700... whatever the game is measured in... closer to my target. Also, sometimes my lock will turn off for a sec (usually while u r firing) and turn back on. Just make sure you can fight close range battles in case sniping doesn't work and learn how to use non-guided weps.
Hackers really hurt themselves in the end. They hacked to get ahead in the MP sectors, and because of that, MP sectors are gone. Im a little POed at that, but not with Ben (ain't his fault. No security is perfect.) so i'm just gonna rate the game based on its single-player. The ships are good, with diffring characteristics; allows several fighting strategies. The weapons are all unique and offer several more fighting strategies (although, watch out, some weps are either complete crap, or clearly intended for MP use) The fact that the enemies get harder not only as you progress further in the game, but also as you move closer to and deeper in enemy territory, is nice. Allows die-hards to just rush in and blow themselves up with satisfaction. I thought the missions were somewhat lacking, but still more diverse than most quest-RPGs. Finally, the music was really good, and the art was that obvious and pleasing Ben Olding style that everyone loves.
Way too easy. At the point where my last ninja died, I just started taking cities over by myself. I took over Alexandria, one of the capitals, by myself, and i only used 10 medium potions.
(Spoiler continued) Part five, you have to manuever the tendrils over food. Hover your curser over the organs at the bottom of the screen to move. Far left and far right organs (shaped like kidneys) turn u left and right. The central organ is sort of like your mouth. It vacuums the food in. The yellow bar at the bottom is your propolsion. It moves you opposite of your tendrils. Part six, aim for the other cell. Shooting is automatic. The other cell shoots at u, too, so watch out. Part seven, you have to hit the water by means of counter-balance. Dont' bother doing anything. It solves itself.
If you can't figure out what to do, here is a spoiler: part one, just find the egg, and aim for it. Then shake the mose a little to get the sperm to swim. Part two, you have to separate the green, red, and blue cells. Once they are in their groups hold them apart for a few seconds to move on. Part three, spin the cell by rotating your mouse, and roll off the flagella trying to pick u up. Reach the bottom of... whatever your falling down. Part four, guide the little thread-like thing using your mouse. Gather the small spheres and bring them to the cell. The large swimming things can steal food from you, but other than that will not do anything.
Im addicted to the game. Ive beaten it on every difficulty several times. I agree with everyone else on the fact that we need badges! I also agree with Tigerfire18's idea on the freeplay mode.
In the inevitable case that someone flips out over my comment on the creators being insane, no, the creators are not acually insane. Happy now, extremely-literal-minded-flammer-who-will-eventually-read-this-comment. You know have your disclaimer and wicked-long title. I have fulfilled your hopes and dreams. (Probably)
