@not4u, yes I think that is catching a lot of players out judging by the claims that you only need one iron mine and can fill the rest of the board with steel plants.
Looks good so far. The ability to create a unit of Settlers to create a new city would be useful as well (especially with automated internal trade routes). Will conquests allow the capture of Wonders/unique buildings/special resources? Certainly think this would benefit from further development.
Funny, seems harder than the version I played on AG. Doesn't help that you have to find out through trial and error about whether the dragon is strong enough for that wave...
Aholder, here's a conundrum for you. At level32, it will cost me $190k to upgrade my steel plant to level 33, and increase my income by $15. For $200k, I can add an alloy factory, which would boost my income by $60. Which is better value?
Some people seem to need serious educatiion in order to play this game. Upgrade storage because if you want to "auto" a factory then youy need to build up a supply of ore for it to perform to maximum capability. Build higher tier production because the reward does (eventually) make it worthwhile, especially with some of the research that these unlock. Would be nice to see a better bonus for changing location though. Also, a pre-generated map of each location, with an option to reject all these and get some fresh option.
I think that there is a lot of room for improvement with building prices and sale prices. Consider, the initial iron mine costs £30, then there's a massive jump to £1,000 for a steel plant - which only adds $3 value to the iron ore. I think building costs above Iron should be cut at least 80% to start with.
jers89, there may not be a pattern, you do not have enough letters to solve the entire alphabet. Just go with the most common (english) letter, and solve from a very common 3-letter word that ends with that letter. After that, a little guesswork filled in the rest.
Seriously? There have been several previous iterations of this game. All have the same flaws that are again present in this version. Fix the flaws, then release a new version, then I might score more than 1*.
I know the event cash bug has been around for a bit, but it seems worse than ever at the moment. It's really annoying when you need to go to work, and you want to max out the vendors/RPs - buy cannot as you don't know what spare cash you have to buy things with. Please have another go at fixing this.
There was a bug introduced with the 3.4 update that only shows up, when you have an event running. The issue should be fixed by now. Sorry for the inconvenience! When it still doesn't work, please assure that you run the newest update (3.4.4).
fentanyl, that is exactly *why* you need to reset. The Dealer Captains give a base +100% rep , plus a further 50% per level *each*. This makes it faster to earn the rep to buy the discounts (which does affect the cost of drugs labs).
MasterArcanum, Dealer Captains also boost respect earned, and can level up (though I haven't seen what that does yet. Furthermore, they are permanent, as are any of their (more expensive) upgrades.
waffle: I won't spell it out in full, but there are 4 keywords that you need to complete "The Escape", and it does involve going forwards and backwards.
niclap0683, I think the scaling needs to be looked at, once you're passed a certain point it's not bad, but it can bottle-neck you for ages in terms of scaling up production from a reincarnation.
