LazyGamer, DeathDealer doesn't hack. I've fought against him and I have defeated him before. Although he IS a tough person to beat now that I think about it. To clabguy - I'm fairly certain most people have already tried the highest rated games on Kongregate.

To avoid food implosion, firstly try making it so your celle has appendages. Not just a massive celle thing. Secondly, when you have food coming from all directions, move in the direction of the least food (actual particles not amount), and then move with the most food kinda slow so it SLOWLY hits you on the side or back.

mystank, interesting map you have there, but you might want to have more solid ground instead of slopes like you have in the middle, it's far to easy to glitch through those in my experience.

Try putting speed hexes next to your missile hexes, and not making huge clumps of missile hexes. Putting in a couple grow hexes next to the speed and missile hexes is also pretty nice.

Unfortunately being permanently imploded and sucking up enemies leaves you ope n to their attacks as well. And makes it much harder to aim missiles...

Actually the imploding celle issue may not always be solved by save, self-destruct and reload. Each spawned hex is connected only to the hex that spawns it, not adjacent hexes. Therefore larger celles are technically made up of 'chains' of hexes. Having enough speed and suddenly changing direction causes these chains to sometimes overlap and then when they try to go back to their original positions, they have a collision conflict with other hexes they overlapped during the course change.

All missiles fire in the direction you point with the core cell as the center. They do not fire at the cursor, only the core will if it's a missile. As for the 127 hex cell imploding, that's a regular issue since each hex is connected to the one that spawns is, apparently not any adjacent ones. It's already on the table to improve that I believe.

I lag even on low quality and few effects at high amounts of bombs and missiles onscreen, but it isn't too bad. Plenty livable, I can't wait for more updates though :D especially a guide of what every cell combo does...
