Fun game so far, making me really wish I didn't have to work tonight lol! I like the upgrade idea. It's always been one thing to make a tower more powerful, but to create sort of "extra towers" in the same square? That's new. Good work!

Very good game and enjoyed the fact that I can build up my units and make them stronger over time! Definitely will be replaying this soon as well as looking forward to a sequel or a similar concept created on this engine. I would not object to seeing a fifth slot be available for another unit. After all, there are 5 unique units to recruit, but only four spaces to choose from, so someone has to sit out. Beyond that, the game qualifies as a very good time passer and has replay value as people like me will try mixing and matching unit combinations. The game is not so unforgiving, it seems, as to discourage creativity by insisting on one certain mix being the only successful one to have if you really want to win the game, unlike a number of others I have played in recent history here. Bottom line: 5/5! :)

I like the concept and I'd like to see more of this sort of thing, but it needs work. Namely weapon upgrades - by the middle of the 2nd map, you've bought everything and you're ending up having to rely mostly on your survivors and your dynamite weapon until it runs out, then repeately clicking your rocket launcher and bazooka until they go dry too. Then slug throwers then finally wimpy melee weapons. It would be beneficial to have a means to upgrade them. The vertical slash weapons were interesting, but way too slow. The spear especially, which is a notoriously swift weapon. I figured it would have slightly less damage than the axe but speed close to the katana. The katana was useful until Map 2. Then it just couldn't keep up. Finally, I'm shooting zombies in the face with a rocket launcher and they are ignoring it while the splash just tickles. Splash needs to be improved from the tiny cloud to something more reasonable. It's a rocket, not a firecracker.

A most excellent game that I continue to come back to every few weeks. I still haven't been able to beat it on Harder due to the obsession my people have with taking dogs out on scouting runs or scavenger hunts or zombie stomps... you would think that after about two or three dropping morale to critical levels that the leaders would post a sign "No more taking the dogs out on your run! You keep getting them killed and it depresses the crap out of all of us. -Love, The Guy Trying To Save Us All" Only real complaint, really. Everything else is quite awesome. :)

Oh... turns out after that long he goes from Invincible to Destructionator and one shots me after finally breaking all my armor with those 1 and 10 damage hits he would get every so often. I got revenge first, though - broke his boots and bracers and got him really worked up. Seriously, good game and enjoying the concept, but Gunnar's a little too tricky and Waizar is... ridiculous. I understand he's the ultimate king awesome guy, but he needs to lose that stun on counter-attack. Or tone it down some. I had him dead to rights twelve times and he'd suddenly stun me and heal himself almost to half before I'd break out. Digging the concept, though. Think the mutants got the shaft a little bit, at least in the early stages. I've not tried the wildcats yet. Maybe they've got it worse. I'm likely to make a third character come morning and try one more time just to find out. Keep working on it, man. It's got a lot of potential.

What's really heartbreaking is playing the whole game through just to get to Mr. Invincible and you discover you don't have the right combination of gear and skills to kill him. Never ending battles get tiresome after three hours or so.
