Interesting take on the TD genre and pretty nice one too. Although I can't say I enjoy it as much simply because the reason I like TDs is the fact that I can take my time to enjoy a well layout defense make mince meat out of incoming enemies. But I see how this would appeal to people who like RTS.
@gritzy: after researching the tech, you need to upgrade a relevant tower to level 3, then select the new upgrade branch. So for the poison ivy, you need to upgrade Flower twice, then upgrade to Poison Ivy
@AlexZ: gems and spells don't fall that often so it is really not a concern. Plus sometimes it's tactically better to leave the gem on a forked path for a moment until a leaked mob passes the nest.
It's possible to "combine" two different weapons. Start with the saw, and let the 6 point saw and 2 "following" saw activate. Switch to homing or something else and the saws remain as an excellent defense system.
Have to agree it's a tough challenge... just what exactly are we supposed to do? It looks more like Short Vehicle Loading To Long Vehicle than Parking anything, but well without any instructions except the controls...
I actually didn't have to demolish anything nor restrict the rooms to get the hipster, or do anything drastic to the business. I think we just need to "mess" up enough on some days, like over market and not have enough rooms/cleaners/servers to handle them something. Less costly than deliberately ruining the hotel :D
Too many teams wearing shades of red, gets very confusing. There should be some checking how close the kit colours are or at least make their shorts different. Or have a mouse over so that you can check which of the 5~6 red guys on the screen is your teammate!
@flaw: they did include explanations on every clause and that does say that they MIGHT get these information from feedback or surveys. Doesn't sound like they are planning to leech all that info right from the start, but of course, it doesn't mean they can't/won't :D
@cj14: all achievements can be done without spending a single cent. If you really get stuck, try switching tactics. Sometimes the usual style/towers we like don't work so well in certain maps, just like it is sometimes better to have a few fully upgraded towers than to use all available spots.
There is a formation editor that opens up after level 2, you can use it to alter your formation without worrying about enemies
