Yes it is. Charged Clicks is supposed to give a higher bonus the lower your percentage of coins gained by click is compared to coins gained passively. The tooltip was a bit misleading, but we have reworded it recently to reflect this fact.
@Albertros753 This is not an MMO, there's no competition, your game doesn't affect mine, and mine doesn't affect yours. If you don't want the buff, I can only recommend you to not buy it.
@Meteora2006 Aliens are the "Flying Saucers" (Classic UFO design) that randomly appear among the normal enemies. They have a little more HPs and carry 10x more resources. There are features to both increase the frequency of them appearing, and to increase the amount of resources they drop.
@Synster, while I agree with your view, and it irritates me that they will never be able to progress equally, it is, however, the DPS that's the reason I can't progress in the "map missions". The tank and healer keeps up very well, but time runs out before the archer deals enough damage. Is that the same with you? I'm on mission #10 or so.
This is actually a quite nice game, just needs a little polishing, and some descriptive help text. Does anyone know what the purpose of the "Max Number" is, when you click the forge, and then "Upgrade"? I only makes 1 at a time, no matter what the "Max number" is, and even if left at 1, it still makes many, and each are equipped, or add to my DPS number...?
Is it just me, or is there just no difference in speed of collecting cash, neither manually nor automatically, when you upgrade it? I've upgraded mine, perhaps 15 times or so, and it still feels just as slow...
I don't understand these comments of hatred, the game is very nicely made, except that the computer AI is ridiculously fast on stage 04/20. Humans can't click 4 or 5 places at the same time. Devs should try to play the games through, without "Dev Tools" once ready for release...
Awesome game, I just have a couple of things I miss; a HOTKEY to enter the menu - it often ruins your path having to move the mouse up there. Also, sometimes it lags like 10 secs when in the menu, to load the menu main screen. I do like the level of progress, it's slow, but you really feel a difference with every little mutation :)
Thank you, good points. The game currently allows you to press ESC to open the pause menu though we've neglected to add that to the instructions. We'll be adding a shortcut key for the mutations window as well as performance improvements.
@jasonjjd - First of all, sector 390 is just the very beginning. Also, ID said in a previous update that he made it easier up to sector 500, for new players. After 500 it will get harder again. I'd like to read your feedback when you hit sector 1000, for example ;-)
I am sitting here, feeling sad for all the work you put into the pets, that was removed again. You could reuse that code for something, for example, a random chance every 100 levels that someone finds a pet? Or, make it a prestige "trophy" everytime we prestige, that one of the chars finds a pet? Or, make them purchaseable? BUT, don't make them cheap, fast, or easy - make them somewhat rare/special. Just an idea :)
The same just happened to my Rogue's 3rd weapon upgrade called "The Dixon" at 20p 33g 56s. I noticed what happened this time, it's when the upgrades roll over 100p in cost, it only displays 2 digits for p as well. It should be 120p 33g 56s. I tried to save up, and the same happens for your cash. You need to allow for 3+ digits in all Platinum Pieces displays. (The highest currency). It all works, you just can't see it :)
That makes sense! We'll have to increase the size of the platinum value since it's the top one. And if we're going to add more (and we'll need to), we're going to need even more space up there!
The Bard's 2nd attack/weapon, upgrade called "Jazz Infusion" at 24p 50g 23c doesn't work. I have way more money than needed, but it does nothing when clicked.
I have two questions, that may be because I am using FireFox, or perhaps a settings issue on my side? Why are the last two damages written in white? (The wizard's 2nd and 3rd attack) and, at the bottom there are two checkboxes, but with no text next to them? (I only see two white boxes with black check marks in them)
How should I express myself about the last update, other than saying "I LOVE IT!!!" - I really do. Now, I can't wait for Prestiging, that would be so awesome! Great job, guys, and I really do appreciate you listened to all the comments and suggestions here! :)
That's awesome. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! Also the last two damage numbers are white because I forgot to change their colours *cough cough*. The checkboxes SHOULD have the "Sound Effects" and "Music" next to them, though!
Every time I have enough EXP to level up the mage, I sit wishing "please please please be cooldown improvement, please please please be speed..." and I click and GAH, more damage... Damage is fine, but not very useful if you can't use it, for looong periods of time :) I know, this will all be fixed next update, I am just impatient :D because this game has TONS of potential!
@Justinplayin Seconds in the cooldown are not shown in fractions, or with decimals. "0 sec" could be anywhere from 0s to 0.499 sec. Equally, "1 sec" could range from 0.5 sec to 1.499 sec. Big difference (3 times the speed, yet both be "1 sec") but makes sense now, doesn't it?
@Malfar, 3.20 is bigger than 3.2, when 3.2 is 3.15-3.19 rounded off, which is why you specify 3.20. 3.20 can only range from 3.195 to 3.20499. That's why they add the trailing zeros in precision instruments, such as clock crystals (ie. 5.000000 MHz)
While on the thread of mage spells, bard tunes, and other abilities; why not make a specialization system instead, where you choose where to place your upgrades in a few categories (for example: cast speed, cast power, crit%). Oh, crit crit crit... 0.01% chance for x2 damage?? You couldn't even see on the DPS if you critted! It should be more like 10% for x3 or x5 damage, at least for rogue's backstab, ranger's special shots, etc. Make multiple monsters appear some times, and make use of AOE Spells, Multishots, Fireball, Cleave, ... Oh, so many ideas! You've got a great foundation here, it's awesome, really, but it needs a better idea/game/plot. I understand you won't make everything autoattack (boring), but at least make it playable :)
Good points! I will say that the crit is actually better than it looks! 0.01% is actually 1% (and they're all being tweaked right now for the next build).
So, I've been using the Feedback button in the game, to comment on things as I noticed them, not gonna repeat them all here, but one thing I thought about; it's impossible to keep track of 6 chars with 3 skills each, with totally random/different timers. Why not change the abilities from all being attacks to, for example, bard's tunes (various effects, could be 1:Raining Gold, 2:Swift Attacks, 3:Hard Hits), the mage could have curses, weaknesses, etc. A 6-man party and no healer? You need to make monsters hit, and possibly kill us, and have the healer heal us. Keep one main fighter (or two / thief), and let the rest be utility spammers.
