Not my usual type of game - and I'm terrible at it - but it's fun, very well designed, intuitive to play, and the gazillions of awards are a funny touch. Good job.
I try again, and am instantly 1-hit killed, first turn, by my opponent. I have absolutely nothing that can do that. This isn't fun at all. Just terrible. 1 star.
I've tried this on practice 10 times and have never even come close to winning. Can I really be this terrible? It seems like the opponent gets massively stacked with better cards, as well as critical hits and dodges. I'm calling shenanigans... practice mode is not balanced.
I have to say - those strategies simply don't work. I've followed them to a "T" a dozen times and have never been able to infect the entire world. Close - but never everywhere at once.
Finished. Had to use a walkthrough for one bit (which was really annoying, since I had tried it already and it hadn't worked). Here's to hoping for part III.
Shots seem massively underpowered. Makes everything pretty difficult when most shots can only bloop a few feet even under maximum power. Needs a little tweaking.
Controls are god-awful. Zoom level is way too close. No easy or intuitive way to move the map. Clunky controls mean lots of frustration trying to get your units to do what you want. Not worth overcoming to try and get badge/cards.
I really enjoyed the first level - very quirky, but I was able to figure it out without hints. The second level seems to be nonsensical, however. It's going to lose my interest pretty soon - it keeps telling me I've screwed up, but I can't see any cause-and-effect relationships to anything I click. Without that, this isn't a game, it's an exercise in random clicking.
Losing items on defeat is the worst concept EVER. Truly. All that progress, totally wasted and lost. Bullsh!t to the extreme. Piece of worthless crap game.
