"Wait, wait. Why is that mine there? This is all bubble mode. I even picked up another all-bubble before the first ran out! Shenanigans!"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not all powerups are good. You want to avoid speed. bouncy and agility once you get too big or you'll end up crashing into mines more often. Also, unless you're confident in your ability to adjust your eyes every few seconds, don't get Noir or Druggy. Destroying mines give you points, so crash into them when you're invincible and shoot at them when you're in minesweeper mode. Just watch those timers!

Thanks Ashchaya! The game is not garbage like others say, it's just backwards. This whole time I thought I was supposed to grow big like in Fishy.

Wtf?!?! 386 points and there was a line of mines somewhat like this across the screen ***************************************** no way to dodge it, learn how to code better.

1938 is impossibly Hard!!! it should be 1000 not 1938!!! is that the developer birth date or just some event that took place on that date(1938)????? or some battle you lost and want to take revenge for that??? WTH!!!

It's not terrible, but you start with a minute of basically chasing small dots without any real danger and then you're left to the RNG to get the right bonuses at the right time. I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure that the way those mines fall considering the size you get at around 1000 means you basically need pure luck for half of the hard badge.

Stuttering graphics and sluggish controls make this a game you really should put no time in. The idea is ok, execution is severely lacking though.

i enjoy bullet hell. I really do. but this offers nothing new to the table - are the controls better than most free games - given the water motif - yes! beautiful controls
but that doesnt excuse a bland game design
even having a smigdgen of story, it doesnt even have to matter, just for someone to tell me *why* im doing this is all i need

After a minute or two you should be able to stop playing and then it will just tell you five minutes later if you got the achievement or not...
If I'm not involved in this decision at all then why the hell would I have to be here for it?

there should be another easy, fun, achivment: combos of special bubbles. Like agility+bullet time= matrix, invincibilty+ agility=super man, repel+double gravity=Lucky, and so on... would be fun :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for the hard badge, best is to grow as fast as possible from the start on because the number of mines that will be in play seems dependent on time and not on your own size, moreover the bigger you are the bigger bubbles will come and they give more points

All games that have Keyboard controls should have Keyboard menu controls!
Examples are: Pause, reset, continue, Start, Menu, and Quit.

1/5 Clean luck no skills is needed... I got the 1938 points by just have the ball in the middle because there's missing a PAUSE button.. So seriously make a game which isn't clean luck and it might get a higher score, to bad i can't vote 0/5 ...

A luck-based game that requires high precision movements but provides floaty controls. You need power-ups to survive with a large bubble, yet the game can hand out power-downs instead. The whole package is a big "F you!" to the player. Whoever is in charge of badge-of-the-day: stop pouring crack on your breakfast cereal.

at first i thought this is easty but then when i got to 800 i realised how big i got and how many mines there were and i was like ooooo-

There is a foolproof method to get the hard badge. Ignore all powerups except the minesweeper powerup and the invincible powerup. Collect those and destroy the mines which will give you points. You get more points by ramming into the mines. Killing mines does not increase your size, which means that you can evade incoming mines easily. Keep this up and eventually you'll hit the 1938 mark.

easy 5 point badge, very hard 30 point badge. I'm gonna be happy with my five points and leave that hard badge to the big boys

Developer, mouse control would be a good idea for those (including myself) who have difficulties using keyboards, pressing "this way" when I am actually seeing for it to go "that way" is a pain and a half on a keyboard,- perhaps a thoughtful consideration? Thank you for your time!! -Marz

I hate those kind of game mixing skills with luck... You either get lucky and catch the right power ups at the right moment.... Or keep trying until you get the lucky strike... Poor

There are a lot of things I like about it. Power-ups are fun and creative, the music is great, and the shifts in music are a clever way to signal you about what power-ups are active.
That said, luck does play too large a role in the game. When you're a third of the screen's width, there is literally nothing to do but cross your fingers. Part of what makes games fun is their direct correlation between effort and reward. A game where you can't affect the outcome isn't fun. It's frustrating. There's no reason to invest time in something that can randomly screw you over at any moment.
Tetris involves some luck. But you can still take that luck and influence the outcome. Poker's the same way. You can't control the cards you're dealt, but you CAN make decisions about your hand. Luck is involved, but you can still take action.
That's part of what makes a game fun. The odds can be bad, but they should never insurmountable, and when you put in time and effort, that should be rewarded.

Adding onto my other comment, if you're going to add a delay between when the mines actually start disappearing during the bubbles only, make it so there's a delay in when they return. I still got a mine even when my power-up was nearly over. Also, for the shooter, when the power-up is gone, I think that the shots shouldn't just disappear instantly but should continue until they hit something/fly off the screen. Lastly, it may be better to (slightly) change the length of the power-ups (good/bad) while in bullet-time because it doesn't seem worth it sometimes to have to wait for the bubbles to slowly come while you're wasting a power-up. It might be better to have it only work in ultimate since it'll give more incentive to pick it up.

It really bothers me when I can play a game 100 times or 200 times and the skill I gain from it has NO bearing on my ability to play it. I have learned what powerups are good and which are harmful, I have a strategy for what part of the screen I sit on as the game progresses. but it all means absolutely nothing. In the end, my score has NOTHING to do with the buttons I press on my keyboard.

Huge luck factor here. Some keys to a nice score: get the star-trek looking gun thingy early, and rack up kills. Avoid regular bubbles at the start (Easier to manuever when small). Bullet time = good. Speed = bad. Invincible = good (duh). Bouncy = bad for manuevering. When you have a decent score built up from the gun, try to get as fat as possible and hold out as long as possible. Unfortunately, there is a HUGE luck factor involved, which makes the hard badge an exercise in frustration.

Definitely all down to luck for this game. After 1000 if you don't hit all bubbles for invincibility you lose instantly.
