The lighting effects when you have less than three thunderbolts make the game run really slow. Fortunately setting quality to low fixes it. Kudos to the dev for realizing that Flash sucks sometimes!

the badge of the day *first jelly skin* is not working for me. i'm on lvl 9, and i have over 20 energy, and i am wearing the second skin

Hey guys, look! A member of the Jelly Resistance! let's wander back and forth aimlessly and hope he's stupid enough to think we're friendly!" "Boss! It seems he can jump over us! I'm gonna chase him down!" "NO! You are to wander back and forth, and if anything but a jelly gets in your way, change directions!" "But boss..." "SHUT UP AND FOLLOW ORDERS!

It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes today (not counting something like 15 min yesterday) to pass level 42 without dying. That's disturbing.

Use Firefox to get the badge. Enabling Flash in Chrome did not help me. To check, after finishing the first level, reload the page and see if you can click continue. You won't get the badge if you cannot continue.

This game always seem to make my computer run slow :( It gets all Laggy... But it ran smoothly on my friends computer.

Pretty good game. One request I would make is to have the edges be a little more forgiving when trying to jump up into a hole. It's kind of awkward trying to go up.. and I find myself holding down the up key and "fine tuning" left and right to make it through the holes. :P 4/5 though :D

Yeah, the main problem is the fact that the game has lagspikes way too frequently during gameplay, even in the stage selection.

If you're going for the hard badge, of course follow pldl, but instead of playing the game twice back to back, I recommend replaying a level as soon as you finish it if you died on it. And when you're doing the no death run, you can press R to restart, which I don't think was mentioned anywhere? Very well designed simple platformer, would probably be a 5/5 if not for some nitpicks. Some things are more frustrating than they should be- like getting into 1-block vertical shafts. Your slime (or "jelly") is pretty fast, and that makes it hard to line up with one exact grid spot. This probably wouldn't be a problem with a controller? And you can land on the very edge of block that has something on it- a spring, a gravity switch, or occasionally even fire!- and you will stand on the block itself instead of activating the thing.

that is the highest quality 'low quality' setting ive ever seen. you realize the purpose of the quality control setting is to adjust the quality of the graphics not just to mess with a screen effect. low quality should eliminate the dancing of the flames and the lightning bolts and the slime trails as well as the blinking portals and the pointless designs on the walls/floors/ceiling and the background. sorry if i sound like a prick, i know my computer isnt great but i can run epic war on high quality better than i can run this on low quality and the lag spikes make this game incredibly annoying. 3/5 as is, id give it a 5 and favorite it if you deal with the quality/lag issues

I agree with previous reviewer - fun game but the technical aspects (periodic lagging, speeding up) took away from the overall enjoyment, despite lowering the game quality to LOW and turning my processor to High Performance

If you can't jump with the space bar, you can use your up arrow key.Just to keep others informed. The game meets all of the game criteria needed in order to keep the player motivated.

This one of the few platformer games where I actually finished everything... and still wanted more. Great game here, enjoyed it immensely.

I love this game. It combines my two favorite things on Kongregate: a platforming game with a sad but epic storyline to it. BRAVO!

I honestly don't know if it's the game or my computer, but my progress on this game has been deleted twice, and the data for my other games seems to be more or less intact. I give up on this game. :/ I enjoyed it, though, until I had to start over. And then start over again.

Even though it's not required, I seem to keep pushing myself to both get all three energy bolts in a level and not die through the level. There should be an Imp for doing that on all 80 levels, if it can be tracked.

The 8 extra levels make the hard badge only a little time consuming but not hard. Good for not-that-good gamers like me xD

Level 42 is just bad. The worst is the middle passage, because it's hard to even properly practice it with the blocks regenerating each death; but there's several places in it designed not to challenge the player, but simply to kill him. I never felt that in any other level. Overall, it was a fun time, though.

Finally got the Hard. About 60% of the time I spent..was when I already had 69 levels with no deaths. Those last 3... All I can say to the people going for it....good luck.

Aha brubes! Impossible? No, for I just beat the level with 0 deaths. Pulling-my-hair-out-in-clumps frustrating? Oh my god yes. Without a doubt. Some other levels have been a bit tough to get 0 deaths on, but 42 was just unreal, especially because I would almost always die 3/4 of the way through the level (usually after hitting the red laser thing and trying to go down through the pass where the flames are on either side but I've already used up most of the disappearing blocks). It is, in fact, possible though.

5/5 Good physics, Nice and challenging, but not impossible like Meatboy.
It should be noted that there are 8 skins and 8 extra levels you can unlock by clicking on the Facebook and Twitter links on the Change Skin screen. You don't actually have to follow or like anything, just open and close the windows from the link for some fun new skins and levels!

none of the levels are really hard, like nintendo hard, except 42. beating it with 1 death is easy, but with 0 seems impossible. just grab one of the 'true fan' levels to complete the hard badge instead. (if you don't actually want to follow or like the game, just sign out of the service first, the game can't tell.)
