A very very good game.
Some suggestions:
More action, better sounds and more kind of attacks or new things to improve the game in general but the concept ARE REALLY GOOD and the IDEA IS GREAT

Love the absorbing idea, the theory behind the game is fantastic, but the graphics and implementation need a little work. Love how the background rotates. Really, really good shooter.

The boss after the other fairy was a bitch. God damn so much stuff on screen...half of it fired "for later" (where it stalls and then shoots off really quickly). Lost all 13 of my lives to him (and got him into his last phase; other two lives lost prior to him one to Stupid Shit).

Gah I wasn't aware of how to show the statistics in the chat, now I know =_= So now the game comes with visible statistics (they were there b4!). Here's hoping that some badges would come around! :)

Fun, until the Z key got stuck, or something ... it was auto-firing, and no other key would do anything. I couldn't even quit.

Actually Thalaron, to tell you the truth I've only heard of Gaiares recently, from an earlier feedback elsewhere. It's amazing how similar both the games are :) I wanna get my hands on that game! Wonder if it'll be available in the Wii Virtual Console...

Very nice take on the "Gaiares weapon system":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaiares. Firing from the mouse would be nice.

a real jewel for Shmup fans!
it's rare to see good polished shmup made by Flash.
I bet the people who made this game were fans to Touhou series, or perhaps every game made by Cave.

To BWD777 please get your facts right before getting your panties in a knot.
Australia uses the QWERTY setup, a few countries use it.
Oh, and BWD777 the world also does NOT revolve around you, so stop acting like it.

Very nice. I will be definitely replaying this. It's really nice to see a more classic shooter. I really like the absorbing and the fact that different enemies give you different shot. The decay makes gameplay a lot more strategic as well. If you were to update; a more colorful background would be good.

Well I'm from Malaysia, and we use the QWERTY keyboard. At first, I didn't even know abt the QWERTZ system, until there was some feedback in the competition page. That prompted me to make the Y key a shot key as well, so that everyone in the world can enjoy the game :)

Great game! 5/5!!! Mabye a different damage system though. It is annoying having to reabsorb stuff after getting hit just once.

To BWD777, the maker of the game is probably American so he uses qwerty set up when making it. Also, they use qwerty in China so that plus America is probably almost a majority of the world.

The world does NOT revolve around America. they are the only ones out there with QWERTY keyboards. Hence, an YX setup like here is convenient. FOR THEM. For anyone ELSE, Y is actually where Z is for you people so we're f*cked.

I like the design and general idea of the game, and the core implementation is good. It does seem that your hit detection might be a tad small, but that counteracts the fact that the enemy's fire blends with your own (Yellow and green kind of mesh together, and you can't tell what's what). I would also appreciate some sort of upgrading, but other than that, no real complaints. 4/5. Near perfect... I'm thinking that a bigger screen would improve the quality of the game, but kongregate doesn't allow that, sadly.

Loved it; absorbing different enemies different powers. Excellent. Nice look, control, variety, bosses, etc. Rare to see a shooter bring such a level of uniqueness to it, but only gets a 4/5 for lack of API.

Very interesting variation on the theme. Kind of R-Type meets Kirby's Dreamland. Excellent game, a lot of fun, and just the right length.
