Warriors definitely need something to increase their quickness. Also, sometimes, the AI "suddenly gets smart" and the whole opposing side attacks one specific player, usually killing him off. Then they go back to their normal random attacks.

Draco: I disgaree on siphon. A lot of the critter's main abilities seem to take up most, if not all their mana. Granted, the break-even is 3 opponents, but it does a great job of reducing the specials you get hit with. Also, if you drain out the back row of critters, they often have to pass since their ranged attacks cost mana. The downside is you're not actually doing damage... so I was using two mages, one to siphon and the other to fireball or freeze.

Split due to character limit.
Creatures on the second level were almost unkillable at my level. I could defeat parties of 4 only barely and parties of 5 murdered me outright (I killed a troll and severely wounded an elite goblin, but never got to touch the shaman, the artificer, or the archer).
Mages also need massive massive massive more power regen than they have. As it is, he gets off one attack ever two to three turns and there are no ranged weapons he can weild.
Life Drain needs to be upped just a bit. By DL (dungeon level) 3 I had a 7% drain item. I am doing ~60 damage, that's 4 HP back. I had health regen items of +5 on DL 2!

Warriors need more items that boost their quickness without sever drops in AC if they're ever going to benifit from Overwhelm (unless you have a rogue with Cripple, but that makes 100 pp for tripple damage from two characters).
Hide/Invisible are pointless, you spend a turn not-hitting so that enemies attack someone else. There's no other benifit. Double-damage next round (haha! Surprise!) would make up for it.
Power Siphon "breaks even" at three enemies. This seems...less than useful.
HP/PP regen should have some effect outside of combat. There's no reason not to, even if it's limited to only when you get more exploration (meaning walking back and forth does nothing).

There should be some natural health regeneration just like there is natural power regeneration when starting out. Also, it'd be nice if quickness improved over time, even if its just minimally.

Fantastic. 5/5, nothing to complain about. Pretty damn tough but still heaps of fun, wasted half a day on it sadly enough

Yeah, I basically milked out battles to heal since I started running out of the minor potions semi-quickly. I went through most of level 3 without finding an item worth upgrading to (which made that level annoying). Also, the AI sometimes goes berserk and decides to send all their ranged attacks against the same rear player. There ends up not being enough time to heal him back up. Also, I hate throwing away items like crazy. Does the party score actually mean anything anyways?
There should be at least some way to buy some potions.

nice idea but im not into this kind i chose mardek rpg chapter 2 over this but its a good play with simple rules and battling styles i'd say this is more of a relaxing game then a stressing one 3/5

You guys have been heard, there'll be an update to the game later today addressing various balance issues.
Congrats to those who've finished the main 'quest' already!

This IS a good game, 5/5 from me. i would however make the inventor screen i bit more user friendly. I also agree that it should be worth while fighting mobs rather than trying to avoid them (dont let the programming go to waste!)

2 fighters boh with execute. All the other abilities don't matter.
1 mage, and 1 cleirc.
Execute is the most powerful ability ever. :)

Perfect, its awesome. It is not to difficult, you just most likely did a bad team. Anybody willing to share preferences? I have 2 clerics and 2 rangers, just to be safe. Both clerics have res and heal all (@ level 3, i am) and one ranger has Force of Nature and hunter prowess thing, other ranger has hunter prowess and multi arrow.
P.S: 5/5ed, favorited, told about to friendsed, and loved. Awesome game

Definatley a good concept! I loved it personally. Things that would add to the whole experience would be the ovious graphics in fights, being able to see the armour you equip on characters and generally just seeing a bit more. Awesome none the less. 5/5

The concept is good. But it is TOO difficult, and there's not much reason to fight the enemies, since they dont give anyting than can help you boost your stats, they only give 5 rubish weapons and 1 almost-useful armor...
You should balance it...
3/5

Quite a good challenging tactics game. Try to keep a spare of every type of item and get lots of regen, heal, defensive abilities in order to survive the battles. I like having a cleric and ranger for healing.

Best flashgame ever played!
Finished the story mode in this moment :)
Maybe the game is a little bit too heavy in the start/middle and too easy in the end. But nevertheless a fantastic work!
