You can never win in multiplayer because people bail. You can never win in single player because the computer freezes on its turn half the time when it knows it's lost. You can never win in hard mode because half the time the computer instakills you. What a ridiculous game, to be entirely based on luck.

ok u should call hard extremely impossibal cause it is u start out with like 1 card u can use and then ur opents have all the good cards!!!to hard =(

Overall great but I really, really, really HATE the sacrifice cards. It's far too easy for the computer to just cripple you with them.

I finally completed Hard Campaign!!!
It only took me 50 tries, extra luck, 5 hours and fail a date with my girfriend... but is already completed!!

this game has more holes than a strainer

To beat bottom chineese castle on hard make deck with minimum cards(5x wain, 5x knight) and replay level until you got both cards on start. Then use knight to crush wall and in 2nd turn use wain, you won.

Maybe when you are about to lose you should have good sportsmanship rather than quit the game because the producer of the game didn't feel like making you win when your opponent quits.

I think your glitch comes from the AI running out of cards somehow. Both times, it happened on the resource+1 opponent, meaning he discarded 3 cards for many turns after I had used theif to strip him of his initial resources. I was able to get through this opponent by focusing on taking him out quickly.

Same problem as Abal, I had an AI opponent on his deathbed, +1 to all resources, and 2 of each resource; I literally needed 2 more moves, and the computer won't make a move...... CHEAP!

Don't you hate in campaing at hard difficulty,the computer takes your resources while you are trying to gain them. At that rate your never going to get your resources. Then the computer finishes you with a trojan horse or something else. Still i will give this game 5/5. Great game!

Based on Arcomage from MM series, nice game this is. I like "specials" - though maybe there could be some indicators of magic shield (on your side) and stuff. Looking forward for 3rd one. 3/5

hmm i do hope that the author of this told you that a free 2 play online strategy game has this game already as a minigame inside of a small f2p online game and i do believe that they have copyrights reserved soo since i dont know who i should ask ill leave this comment instead still great game but a forgery of the exact game mechanics

Got all the badges and still didn't unlock the curse card which every damn hard castle has, this game is frustrating, but it is addicting too. 3/5 for curse card and not being able to use your unique decks in multiplayer, also for the kreds in multiplayer.

Why the hell can't we get any goddam sacrifice cards? That pisses me off right when I add a 2nd builder. But its funny when the AI sacrifices its worker and mine doesn't die because I have only one worker.

lol some players just attack me but i just keep raising my wall ang get more units. He had 3 units at all classes and i had 7 . Then i had 100 weapons,bricks,diamonds and he was having 10 .I pwned him easly with a quake and a dragon

Great game. I have spent several hours with this game and the practice and multiplayer modes are the best. Campaign is too tough and the sacrifice cards sucks. and I experienced in practice mode that the opponent sometimes dont want to play - thats a serious bug!

I'm saddened almost to the point of depression that, despite what everyone said about the original Castle Wars, the developer has failed to target the key issue with multiplayer - the fact that quitting the game does not count as a win for the opponent.

Well, as I found out, in the multiplayer version, if you're registered, you can get access to some extra cards, and those cards seem to / can make the difference. Since I'm not planning on registering myself somewhere for every single game, I've changed my rating for this game.

Fantastically glitchy- spells casting on the wrong player, spells dealing double (critical hit :P) damage..
Throw in some major balance issues and other annoyances.. just like the first iteration this game loses its charm quickly.
