All these comments about walkthroughs... I know it is the trolly version of Just Chatting, but is that really the reason people can't come up with an original comment?
Another problem is the turning (for left handed people). I noticed it turns right most of the time, and since going right is a left brain activity and left handed people are right brain dominate, this effectively makes the game a living hell for left handed people.
The game itself is amazing for how minimalistic it is, but the low rating most likely comes from the strobing lights and random flashes. This could very easily give some people seizures, and a lot of people just don't want those kinds of games on kong.
Very dissapointing, to be completely honest. While it was as mind cooking as the last few, there are numerous bugs, including the lack of clicking on the inventory (randomly), the storage cell will not work (have only tried it once), and the most annoying thing is a lack of autosave. 3/5 for now. Add autosave and that will be bumped up to a 5.
Ok, some things to fix (IMO). Tone down the Captains. Half of the time they rush from god only knows how far off screen and on level 4+ this is a serious cause of the deaths. They should have either a slower charge, or not dash as fast. Also, the random set up of the stages is a serious pain, as some are immensely easier while others are basically impossible to get to stage 5. Perhaps add some difficulty selection and divide up the possible stage set ups between those stages. And please add some upgrades. I find myself having to waste all of my daggers on captions and brutes because the game is scrolling so horribly fast.
It seems that with lag comes inability to infect. I fired the virus into a whole crowd and not a single person got infected, with both piercing and all 4 direction upgrades.
Ok, time for the constructive criticism. I am not sure how the axes work, but it seems pretty much impossible to construct it 100%. The pikes require WAY to many poles, which means if you get a level with say 4 pikes, you either go bankrupt from spending them on the overly priced poles or you have to suffer through a level with 3-4 measly pikes. I also feel there should be some strategy other than picking the weapon type, as crystal weapons are strong enough on their own to make it. Perhaps add a few bosses here and there that will get you some nice rewards, like 2-3 recipes or maybe 10 random pieces (and more importantly poles).
