@arelynx - I haven't done enough other experimentation with upgrading Augments to say if upgrading common rarity is worthwhile. Right now I'm running for more Augments with rare and very rare Logic Circuits and Plasma Propulsion just to pile up scrap and collect Augments to switch to Deep Space Exploration. At present I plan to just save my scrap to convert to Edifacts at Galactic Reassignment.
Having read comments about upgrading Logic Circuits, and the dev reply that the Augment level boost reaches 2 at Logic Circuit level 8, I dumped a considerable amount of scrap into one. At level 9, it finally says it increases Augment level by 2, but it only increased it for the rarest reward. I'm rather disappointed with how expensive it was for such a meager difference, but mostly because I couldn't foresee it. Even if the math weren't changed, it would be nice to have the ability to look ahead and see what I'm getting into upgrading these Augments.
Has anyone identified what the Anomaly Detection Device does yet?
"GOPHER units return with an additional X% yield from a Specialist or Deep Space Exploration mission of the same duration"
Same as what? Same as that unit's previous mission? Same as another unit's mission? Same as something that was supposed to be referenced but was accidentally left out? Knowing what it does would be a great help in deciding where to put it, or if I should just salvage it.
@Arkatar_K - is that what it's doing? Reducing the lowest producer to minimal representation? No wonder I was confused when I bought Government District upgrades, since that's almost always my lowest. I was expecting regular normalization, where 0 remains as 0 and everything is just scaled to fit from 0 to 1, without any offset.
Is there any way to see the current boost chance or intensity of any sector? I don't necessarily have a use for seeing it offhand, except that I would like enjoy knowing it.
I have noticed with the Government District (it may happen with other sectors, but I haven't seen it), when it's the lowest producing sector and I upgrade it, sometimes every other sector in the statistics bar graph except the highest sector is reduced in height despite no other production numbers changing, regardless of what the highest producing sector is. My understanding is that the graph is normalized, so the only time any bar should shrink without loss in production is when the highest value is increased. So what's going on to make the bars shrink when I don't see the highest value increase or any other value decrease?
Don't know when my Floating City Sector went to a 6:04 operation timer (early in my run, so lots of quick upgrading going on), but it's displaying about 60% complete with 8 minutes left.
Is there a particular reason that I just reopened the game and everything is counting down from 10 minutes when my cycle time on some sectors is as low as 0.25 seconds? It did not do this any previous time I opened it.
Last coin upgrade says "Effect: All coin production is further multiplied by 2.23e341 [Stacks with upgrade 1]!" It does not do this, as after purchasing my coin only went up about e70. My tax was at e44, so it did not spike enough to explain my coin not being multiplied by e341. I'm fine with not having that huge a multiplier, but I would like to see what multiplier I am going to get.
The Accelerator Boost resetting your diamonds and basic diamond upgrades is a terribly tedious mechanic. The only thing it accomplishes 99% of the time is making me do one or a few really rapid (I'm talking like 5 second) prestiges to recover the basic diamond upgrades. In under 30 seconds everything is trucking along again, but in the meantime I was just clicking the coin upgrades over and over. There's no strategy in there, no value, just mandated to do a bunch of repetitive clicks.
The newest update is making my Chrome tab crash within 30 minutes of starting the game, and it scraps my progress toward leveling up the spells. Not playable like this. Let me know when it should be working better again. Been liking the game and appreciating how active you are with it.
I have a displayed critical rate of 48%, but when I watch the log it looks more like 0.5-1%. What's up with so many numbers not displaying what the system is working with?
"It is no longer possible for the “Satisfaction” upgrade to cost less than the player’s score, accidentally making it appear buyable. For clarity’s sake, this upgrade is not meant to be buyable. Think about it." - HA! I elected to find satisfaction in making the donut in the middle solid. I win.
I generated an Alphecca with 12 steel, and I don't have it. It's done generating, says "Click to Generate", has the increased cost, but it doesn't exist in my inventory.
Basic Tower ATK displayed: 44.5
Normal Shot damage per hit: 60.8
Drink Instant ATK Wine displaying: +64 ATK
Basic Tower ATK displayed: unchanged
Normal Shot damage with wine: 76.9
What gives? I deliberately let the wine mature until I could reasonably expect at least double attack power. What's the number on it for if I can't tell what it means?
Broke the game. I'm into prestige level 13, I have points up in 3, 4, 5, 12, and I can't complete my current run with autobuy for 1 because when my last guy dies it freezes. I've been seeing negatives and infinities for a while because the game can't handle its own numbers.
I will do a litle update today
