One exception to the rule about always stacking your bonuses: the first bonus refreshes ever 2 years, then the next ones are 3, 4 and 5 years. So you can fire all of them at once, then wait 2 years and fire just the first bonus for a little extra boost, then wait until everything is refreshed and fire all at once.
A few tips: 1. Always stack your bonuses at the same time - this gives much more boost than if you just fire them off one at a time. 2. Because bonus stacking is so powerful, it really is important to unlock at least the first three bonuses fast. 3. Programmer job track pays way more than the other two. 4. Health gives a huge benefit to productivity. Get programmer track as fast as possible and switch to Yugle campus food - this will typically triple your energy, which triples your research and job XP. 5. Later in the game it doesn't seem possible to "win" without using the Loop Trap. I grinded it out for a while and finally gave in. The subsequent resets go much faster.
@RjC, once you earn multipliers they are kept forever (until you use the Loop Trap). So one life you can focus on boosting a couple skills if you want and you keep the benefit in later lives.
@Jarofed, I think you need to think about ways to make it easier for players to know what exactly they will get for buying buildings or upgrades. If an upgrade claims it will double by GPC, it should double by GPC. If it's not going to double it then you need to fix the tool tip to say something more accurate. But please holy hell don't tell me some formula involving a logarithm of a square. That's not useful information. Neither is "base GPS" in the buildings tool tip. Who cares? Tell me the actual GPS per building so I know what I get if I buy one more. Many of your players will be casual gamers who don't want to keep a calculator out to determine what upgrade to buy.
No, it's not one time bonus, but currently it works only when GPS reaches certain points. 10/100/1000/etc... So you won't see any changes to you GPC if your GPS goes from 10 to 99, but if it goes from 99 to 100 - you will.
Fatal Bug: I was on dungeon level 7 and had found the ladder. Rather than going down the ladder I used the tavern to fight the boss, which still took me to level 8 and also gave me a level up. All of that worked correctly. But now when I click into the dungeon it says which stat do I want to upgrade since I leveled up, but I already leveled up so none of the options are there. So it's just a black options menu and I can't use the dungeon anymore. Game over. I hit refresh and my game hadn't saved. Obviously there is some work to be done here!
Use gold to buy more wood per minute, trade wood for gold, use gold to buy more wood per minute, repeat over and over and you quickly have incredible amounts of income.
@omgnoob, I have to say, this time you actually made a pretty good game. Credit where it is due! Are you going to stick with this one and give it some updates or throw it away like all the others? I think this could actually be fairly successful if you build on it.
There should be a skill the rolls for you every so often, which can then be sped up. Or a skill to improve your moving speed on the board would also be nice.
@Lustre, those are achievements and the 30 rubies are your prize. e.g. the first one in the list is to collect a certain amount of gold. You spend rubies in the Cards tab.
I think the first time the game loads it take a bit of time to load the music. While it's loading the music nothing responds. I'll see if I can fix it.
