This game is basically unplayable. After about 15 screens the controls go haywire. From that point on you are just randomly hitting and missing stuff no matter where your attack lines are drawn on the screen. Shame on Kongregate for giving badges to a game that is so clearly unfinished.
Umm....I'm not reading the interminable conversation at the beginning of this thing...I don't know why people think we need so much back story for a stupid game.
It makes me a little uncomfortable that people enjoy games where the goal of the game is to kill people in horrible ways. When I was a kid (many decades ago) if a kid was making a game like this, they would have sent him to a psychiatrist to figure out what was wrong with him.
I know, it's cool to do things that are "bad," but seriously...when you kids grow up and you have to worry about your own kids being murdered by their friends when they go out on a friday night, or even just go to school, you'll know what I'm talking about.
I really want to like this game because the wall jumping reminds me of that old flash game "n." But there's something about the controls in this game...too loose and sloppy. Just can't enjoy it.
Very pointless. The steps required to kill someone don't logically follow. Why do I need to shock the guy in the first part to get him to fall on the floor when I'm then able to make the gun float up by itself and shoot him in the head? Makes no sense. Lazy execution of a moderately interesting idea.
@Kitty2310: I think you are missing the point. You are supposed to type in the ENGLISH WORD that the image represents. Things like "LAWNMOWER" and "FISH." Yes, some of the early images are just keyboard symbols, but as the game progresses you will need to type a word in.
It's confusing at first because you have no armor when you start. But the only reason you lose money is because you damage YOUR vehicle when you hit others. You are not paying for damage that happens to other vehicles. Once you have armor (buy it in the same place you buy engine upgrades, just look for the left/right arrows at the sides), you will see that when you are more resistant to damage, you lose a lot less money.
Well, I finally figured out that there are additional screens in the mechanical upgrade area. I didn't notice them at first (hint: UI Developer). Once you realize you can upgrade armor, you are on easy street. Just keep buying armor until you are up to level 4, and then get the oil slick weapon and go back to upgrading the armor to the best. Then make sure that your engine is at level 5 or maxed and save up for the missles. With the missles you can actually end up with more cash than you were going to get paid in the first place, just by blowing up cops. Also, try to hit the overpass ramps as often as possible to minimize collisions with your scorched victims.
Sorry...this game is just set up to be more annoying than enjoyable. That seems to be the final skill that game developers need to learn...Making a game that is actually enjoyable so that people WANT to keep playing.
I don't understand the scoring...You are supposed to get points for damaging cop cars, but when you hit them, you lose points? It seems like everything you do costs huge amounts of money. And then to make matters worse, if you actually slow down and stop at intersections, the view narrows down so that you can't see the traffic coming from the other direction...Annoying!
Here's the major flaw with this game: The shooter aspect is meaningless. You are only shooting in self defense. You can blow up enemy ships all day and it doesn't affect the enemy in any way whatsoever. So why bother? If you could actually sway the course of the game by shooting down enemy ships it would have some function, otherwise it's just a pointless feature.
It's too bad, because the game itself is moderately entertaining otherwise.
Bah...stops at level 15. I'm sorry, but getting to level 15 in the demo did not make me want to download/pay to keep going. If it were free I'd play, but I'm not paying for more of the same...It wasn't THAT good.
