I like it. I've played it elsewhere. But I haven't been able to find a way to get past the 1939 level without taking some damage, and I get very frustrated when a plane is off the screen in the planning stage and it causes my map view to jump around randomly. It's actually getting to the point where it's too frustrating to keep playing.
First impressions...The enemy started coming as I was reading through the many tutorial screens, which pissed me off. I couldn't figure out how much money I had for the firs two waves. That's important, make it easier to find. I couldn't easily see how much money the towers cost, the prices is at the BOTTOM of the tower descriptions. That's crazy. You need to run some usability testing on your game.
Oh, and I have three tabs open to Kongregate because the stupid banner link in the top left corner of the game. You do realize that people are clicking all over the place to send the Mole out there, right?
OK, I got all the trophies and still couldn't get $300k. And oddly, they collected LESS taxes on my $248k than they took when I only made $90k (is it random?). I'm don't playing. It's just not fun when getting the "hard" ending is so apparently arbitrary and takes SO MUCH TIME.
OK, I'm just not getting it. What's the shelter for? What am I supposed to buy? can't make it past the fourth wave without dying. Is there some additional information about this game?
I was able to win races in the stadium easily up until level 8. Then all of a sudden I couldn't maintain a regular speed (keeps dropping to zero every few seconds). I can't hit my top speed at all. And a few seconds into every race the title bar of my browser window starts flashing and the focus leaves the Flash player and goes to the browser. That's really killing me.
Stadium seems broken. Sometimes my speed just drops to zero, even though I'm still pushing the buttons. And then the mouse cursor disappears from my screen and it takes 30 seconds or so before I can do anything with my computer again.
I've never experienced such choppy game play. I read the "How to Play" and was looking forward to a nice, slow-paced game. Really disappointed by the frenetic pacing...and the choppiness made it unbearable.
Crap...I clicked "Clear All Data" instead of the A-Bomb. I had EVERYTHING and just needed two more medals.
Not starting over. Really BAD placement of the Clear All Data button.
No game should ever escalate so fast that you have no damage on level X and are completely destroyed on level X+1. That's just ridiculous. Won't be playing again.
