Oh, never mind my previous comment. Seems the best way to kill the toaster is to hang all the way to the left rather than getting all up in its face. You do need to max out upgrades on all offense though(crits, firing speed, damage, and both offensive specials).
I've got this feeling it's just not possible to get Easy in less than 40 seconds. Maybe on a desktop with a mouse, but my touchpad just isn't cutting it. :(
I feel like the giraffes and hydras should have their HP values switched. The Giraffes with Hydra Heads do less damage, but their trample is ridiculously high priority, and you spend half the fight just waiting for them to stop moving/land in between so you can punch them. Conversely, the Hydras with Giraffe heads do more damage per hit, but are overall easier since they don't run all over the place and spend most of the fight just getting hit. Overall, 15 Giraffes have probably twice as many HP as 10 Hydras(while keeping the same reward), so I think there's a bit of a problem there.
For those who don't know, you can actually improve your cats by clicking the attack/life/speed icons below them. I played for a couple hours before I realised it. :P And all this while I thought it was just a slow, laggy game. Improved my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
Am I the only one who has trouble with Stage 12 and 14's Time Attack Quests? Even with fully upgraded team and all the runes at max, it's still impossible to beat all the enemies in the alloted time, in part because it takes several slashes to kill each one.
Pirates are a pretty solid second-tier behind Ninja. Slower, but stronger shots, without as much straight forward-clearing shots. A Ninja/Pirate team is also pretty strong. Haven't seen a Zombie costume, or we could make the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot.
I started with Superhero Team. Then 2-Robot Team with various combinations(fairy seems to work decently) for experience candy. Once you get to like Commando(the +60 stats rank), Ninja all the way. The spread just makes everything into Swiss Cheese.
I like the game, but some things are horrible, like that one room where you fall through the sunlight pit, and there's no way out, even with the sister continually jumping to block the sun, I can't make Robbie cool long enough to charge up to blow up the floor. :(
There's a bug where sometimes the weapon refuses to get sold, and it clings to the pixel. It won't show up(nor shoot) in the battle mode, but it refuses to be deleted from the build screen.
Ok, playing it a little longer, it's not quite THAT bad. Still sucks like crazy in the opening 10 minutes(before you get some decent speed/reaction) though. Bumping it up to 3/5 from 2/5.
