Why is it that the ONE ball I need always moves on the other side of the screen? Also, larger balls should not suck my life away without me even touching them. Finally, there is already a game on here that utilizes this concept. It's called "Cosmic Crush" and it's by sarcasto.
Pretty good job with this one but there are a number of problems that need to be fixed:
1) there needs to be a limit on how far up the screen you can go. Otherwise, what's the piont of the red ships?
2) Powersups should not appear in the HUD area
3) There needs to be an indication as to when a powerup wears off. If I'm in the middle of the swarm shooting and my invincibility wears off, I die... but there was no indication that it was close to wearing off.
Add arrow controls option and consider changing it up. I find myself cought in (literally) impossible situations and that's because there are two pieces coming from two sides at the same time. Maybe if they all came form one side but moved faster? 4/5 from me.
I played the game from start to finish. I enjoyed it alright. You did two very smart things with this game. One was showing the progress so I was actually working toward a goal (1/10, 2/10, etc.). The other thing that was smart was making the levels go from easy progressively more complex rather than starting with complex levels. I believe this game deserves a 4, but because it is so underrated I'm giving it a 5.
Other than the weird problems with going into the ground sometimes, it is a great, simple, fun game. Good job : )
Hm... I'm totally a fan of remakes if they're original and done well. This oen was pretty good, but Zuma is better. I believe that if one makes a remake it should be as good if not superior to the original.
I am a fan of all of your work. While unorthodox (which I like) it is also excellently done and beautifully realized. As a nursing student I find this game particularly interesting :P
I gave it a 4 because it's beautifully made and well-coded, but you've made it too difficult of the bat. As cheatmaster so.... repetitively said... the learning curve it too steep to hold most people's attention.
This is definitely a game for young children only. I laughed when it said, "The red arrows point to where the diamonds are hidden." They're not hidden if there is a friggin' ARROW pointing at them are they? ahahahaha. Also, it needs to be "score" not "scores" when it shows your score.
There is too big of a gap between the small upgrades and the large upgrades. Also, what determines when your troops come out? There were times when I had like 10 guys rush out, and times when it was only me taking on 10 enemies... I don't understand... Is it totally random?
Decent game. I give it 4/5 because it is addicting...
too much text :-S... I don't think most people are patient enough to wade through that war and peace length instructional manual. If you want people to learn your game then provide a tutorial at the beginning because no one wants to read that much just to even start playing a game. It was decent once I got into it, but I wasn't a big fan :-\. Simply put, less is more.
I thought the pokeball was hilarious. Wow, that boss came out of nowhere. I don't think most people will actually play long enough to see the boss.
The combo meter was a good choice, as it was the only reason I kept playing.
