You lose WAY too easily in this game... and it feels "slow" which is sort of a no-no for a "racing" game. Because of the decent graphics I'm giving it a 2, but it needs a lot of work.
LOL. I got a real kick out of driving upside down. This game is under-rated as it is a LOT less annoying than games above it. I genuinely had fun, if only for a moment. You should have like... HUGE jumps and brick walls you can explode and people to run over. Add in other trucks for competition... The finish line was so random... I thought the level was just set to repeated loop... It's too repetitive so make a unique track and change it up some and it could be great. I think it deserves 3 stars as it is now, but because it's so underrated and some crappy games are above it, I'm giving it a 5.
LOL... the thing is like Zoolander... it can only turn one direction. It took me a minute to get the concept of the game. Nice idea. Obviously if you want it to be great it needs a lot more work, but neat little game. If you set a goal "sm" (whatever the heck sm. is...) to hit, then people hit it... it could move to the next level. If you set a goal and then had levels if you hit the goal, it would instantly become addictive.
I think you should make the grapple deploy faster... Very original concept, but as with countless other games, there is a lack of depth, variability, surprise, and fun that just leaves you bored after a few moments. Why pills? What do the pills do? No powerups? Why do the walls kill me? If the walls kill me, then why do I not lose any points? There need to connections between the different elements of the game. Fun, but needs a lot more to be addictive.
The dual control scheme is really innovative and unique. I like how you have to focus on both the top and bottom of the screen. However, the repetitive and simple nature of the game causes it to become repetitive VERY fast. You're just doing the same thing. It's not particularly challenging, and there's nothing to look forward to... no bosses... no special challenges... no powerups... You need some kind of boss, and some kind of "jumping challenge" with the boat... maybe you could get a temporary gun turret upgrade for the boat to shoot the water obstacles with... It just needs MORE. Keep working on it and it could be loads of fun.
Kind of like line rider. Good but has some problems. The visuals feel cluttered. It might be better if it was simpler and longer. I can't put my finger on what it's lacking, but needs some work. So far, good job.
The face-to-the-ground start is weird, and the weapons, while a good idea, are overpowered. They shouldn't kill us both... maybe just disable us for a second or slow us down.
I enjoyed it : ). Got 37th overall haha. Couldn't really find any major problems with it. Maybe leave the mute music button on from the beginning of the game since I normally listen to music and was annoying waiting for it to pop up :)
I really like the idea but I'm on my back 1/2 the time. Consider making an idential came, but with just a wheel. Same physics, but instead you don't get stuck on your back... or maybe you could just play it so that two trucks are strapped to each others' backs... but sometimes it's too hard to get back to the first part of the level, and it's not fun spending 30 seconds upside down.
I love your game (as I've said in a previous comment) but now I want to offer some tips for improvement, because the more I play the more I notice little problems. For example, how is "IQ" being calculated? I find it infuriating that I will start the game, perfectly complete a puzzle, get an IQ of 183, then perfectly complete the next puzzle, then my IQ drops to 169. So, having made no mistakes at all, my IQ has dropped. In addition to this, are you factoring speed into this? Some of the best real-world IQ tests take into account the amount of time it takes someone to solve a puzzle. I can solve the "standing dog" puzzle in under five seconds and often complete the sliding puzzles in under 30 seconds. I have the 5-ring puzzle down pat and can beat it in less than 1/3rd of the time provided, ...
Continued... the speed of completion does not seem to positively affect my score. Another bug is that when you click on teh crab's face in the "find 5 things" puzzle, it counts it as wrong, even though I am actually on the crab. Also you need a skip button to skip all of the computers' animations, because while it's fun at first, it quickly becomes tiresome sitting there for a minute and a half watching the computers fool around while you do nothing. And finally, I think there need to be special "winning" games or something. It is very odd to "win" a game by getting lucky with what number you roll on a dice. I'm not sure how you should change it (that's up to you) but I think the winning needs to be reworked. Make some of these thing happen and the game will surpass greatness and approach excellence.
Having played and fairly ranked every shooter game on Kongregate I am now met with your game. The worst game ever ^_^. At least I got to shoot something to take out my frustration.
ROFL. I laughed so hard when I shot two guys like a psycho, ran off screen, and died in a matter of 5 seconds. This game is absolutely terrible, but in the funniest way possible.
