Level 20, star in upper left is misplaced. The user has no control over where the dude lands or how fast he is pushed. Tried a bunch o' times and cannot get him to hit that star.
1) why when I respawn do I not respawn at 100%? I swear I've spent half the GD game trying to recharge to 100. 2) why doesn't he gain health faster? Another quarter of the game has been spent "resting" for 2 minutes or more at a time to get enough health to make it to the next checkpoint. It takes more than 1 second for him to gain 1 point of health. Respawn at 50? Then you're looking at sitting there for more than a minute to get to 100. Gets really boring, which is too bad because this is an otherwise kind of awesome game.
Fun game until you get to the level where the little guy has to go up the jagged ladder and the only f-ing thing he will do is fly sideways and pause midway to the next step. If I could alternate between arrows and AWSD, it might be bearable, but as it is, it's annoying as hell.
Very slippery controls make it difficult to play and diminishes the fun. I appreciate that these games are hard to make and time consuming, but the point is to make games that people want to play. Posting your game to Kongregate is a good way to get feedback, NOT tell people off who are just trying to help you improve the game and develop as a programmer.
Gets very boring and freezes often. I usually love Bonte games, but this is too repetitive, especially with the "snake" games. Frozen on level 32. I'm not willing to start all over.
Bleh. Too much mind reading. The hint is pretty useless, in my opinion. Some kind of clue what you're thinking would have been nice. I'm too bored with it to keep clicking around.
Updated my rating - 1/5. Completely ridiculous that the game doesn't roll a 1. You can sit for HOURS with all four players needing a 1, and it will never happen. Who programs like this?!?
You need some kind of instructions somewhere. Once I got all of the controls set to something that actually made sense, I was able to actually play. I made my way over to the left and got the "wall kick," but unfortunately, there are no instructions on how to actually wall kick! So I got stuck. Backed out to check the controls. Boom, all progress in the game lost. Looks like a fun game, but you have to communicate what we're supposed to do somehow. I'll check back.
Oh boy, if you guys don't like level 10, you will hate level 17 and particularly level 20. 20 is RIDICULOUS. I'm about to quit after playing the level about 150 times. Blocks go in and out at about 1.24 second intervals - impossible to time correctly. Sometimes my guy decides not to jump, too, which sucks since you end up doing the whole level over then. There had better be a GREAT ending to this game to make it worth suffering through...
A cute, quick game. I managed to find 100%, though I agree that wandering around until I found the last 5 was a little tedious. Still, it's a nice gift from a really excellent game maker. Thanks, Bart!
Yeah, okay, so I tried it another 75 times and I still can't do it. The fact that after playing the level about 183465367 times, you still make me click to get rid of the giant thought bubble that explains what I've already heard 183465366 times before, plus the fact that you're expecting some serious pixel hunting on level 9 of what, 40? Yeah, that = 1/5. I'll be very excited to hear that you've fixed that level, because I loved Blob Thrower 1. I wanted to play, but I just can't waste any more time on level 9.
I so want to love this game, but it requires way too much doing simple things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over because the controls are too slippery.
Ok, so I figured a few things out, and managed to get wings. But I'm now stuck at a place where you have to jump and fly and dodge bullets, and I would be successful if the controls were consistent. Jump and fly seems to work just fine on the ones where the platforms are close together, but as soon as I get to that critical longer space between platforms, I'm now jumping as I land - right into a bullet. I'm sure it's something that I'm doing... not releasing the up button the nanosecond before I land (even though I did it just fine on the last three platforms). So maybe I don't have the fine motor skills required to control my character down to the pixel and I certainly don't have the visual skills to see the pixel that makes the difference between landing a jump or not. Too bad. I love these kinds of games. This one could have been good, but it's just too frustrating to pixel hunt over and over and over. 1/5
I must be missing something. I wish there were more instructions. I can't figure out how to move to any other parts of the game. I'm sure I'm just missing something.
