This is some of the glitchiest controls I've ever seen. Sometimes I can't jump onto a platform even though for all appearances I should be able to. Sometimes I fall through the floor. At one point I was standing in midair over a dog and couldn't get down. Good potential for this game, but it still needs a lot of work.
And now that I've used your walkthrough to see how I'm supposed to be reading your mind about the clue 953486 (at least now that I see the solution, I get it, but that's still some mind reading) and the solution in your walkthrough doesn't work within the game I'm playing, I'M DONE. 1/5, 0 if I could.
Nice game. I really enjoyed it. As others have said, improvements could be made to the map (show where the player is, clear items as they have been collected). But otherwise a great game!
Cute. I don't think you need checkpoints, honestly. Each level is short enough and the controls are good enough that you have time in the air to make adjustments so you don't die. Nice job.
Fun, but OMG. Whatever level it is where the rocks fall from the ceiling at you... good Lord, it starts from the beginning of that level where you have to push the cart over to the box and then push it back and it's SO SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. I would have kept playing if you had set a checkpoint where the rocks fall but I am not going to keep sitting through that SLOW crap over and over to try to get through the falling rocks again. UGH.
played on notdoppler, but got all the way to the end and tried to defeat the final boss. Too much of a pain to have to make potions to be able to stay alive long enough to defeat it. I don't have any more ingredients, and I'm just not interested in flying back to other planets to gather them. Too bad. It was a pretty fun game overall (except for that one thing).
Well, other people got farther than I did, but I can't tolerate the "oh, sorry, you tapped the f-ing space key too hard and now you've died" over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Boring as hell.
R = restart/replay. It's bad enough having to click all over the screen to hit the levers (could use space bar for that). I don't want to have to click through a few screens just to start the level over.
Fun enough game, but the "accent" that you have selected for your narrator is really offensive. It's unneccessary, adds nothing to the story, and makes you look a little ignorant, frankly.
Really a great game. Some challenges as you figure out how to get Bruno where he needs to be. Nice use of having to have teamwork among characters. The "Emily can help you" sign is very confusing. She doesn't actually seem to do anything to help you jump higher as far as I could tell. Thankfully, Hasaro left his comment about Emily's spells, but I never seemed to need to have Emily heal either of the other characters. I probably could have, because at one point, I ran Taks into a few too many things, and he ended up restarting on the tree level, but since I didn't lose any progress, that wasn't much of a hardship for me. In my opinion, Emily only needs one spell: to turn herself into a snail. Anyway, really fun enjoyable game that made me think a bit without frustrating me or asking me to grow another arm to be able to work the controls or find the one pixel to be able to succeed. Nice work! I will favorite this one.
This game had real potential to be fun. Then you get to levels like 31 and 32 and it's just boring as hell doing the same 15 seconds of play over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Just not worth the time. Too bad.
All in all, a pretty awesome game! I would even say that one could do without a map, though one would be nice. What IS essential, in my opinion, is some kind of instruction, even in the instructions panel you have here on Kongregate, about how to use the transform skill. I had to randomly peck through my keyboard until it worked. It was a little confusing using the "W" button for my "T" tile when there's also a "W" tile, but it became apparent later why you did that. I'm sure you explained that I'm supposed to use "W" to go be transparent, but sometimes the contrast between the background and the text on the messages makes it a little hard to read. Plus, at that moment, I was worried about whether I would be shot! So, anyway, if you just added "w to transform" and "a to use wire" and maybe a note in the Kongregate instructions panel about how you have to acquire the tiles to be able to use the skills, that would make it a really great game. Well done! Can't wait for more.
