Needs some hard core polishing. Game breaking bug on map 4 since you can't properly scroll around, hard to tell what the heck is going on at any given moment, slow command operations, seemingly unstoppable army(sent a few guys to each base in one level, won after a couple minutes of sitting there) generally just annoying to try to play and becomes nearly unplayable as the maps get larger.
Game seems slightly buggy/strange. Level 4 with the train can't be beat it seems, it always breaks when I put the suitcases together, and level 5 is just sort of... Completely clueless and strange without seeing how level 4 ends. You can still get the badges though, so meh.
Pfft, the only way to be too similar to kingdom rush is if you make an exact copy. This game has a lot of differences from Kingdom Rush, and most of them are for the better.
Woo! This is one of the few games where I didn't fall back on using the walkthrough to find stuff. Sufficiently entertaining to keep me looking for the stars rather than just cheating my way there. Really nice game.
Darn BotD's being on Unity games. Quit pushing that engine on me, kongregate! Sorry to the game author for leaving an irrelevant comment. I'm sure your game is great, I just really don't want to download the Unity player... Maybe one day I'll break down and get it.
Oh disaster, mousing over tiny gold coins to collect. Why oh why do developers continue to use this mechanic... If there's a decent Magnet system, maybe, but still. *Hates hovering over coins*
Hi and thanks for review.
Yeah you are completly right!
This is not the first game where I used this mechanics...and gamers always complain about it.
I need to change it somehow.
Thanks!
Jundosmack, in a game with one level you need to rely on making upgrades necessary. This game isn't even really intensely grindful, I finished it fairly quickly. A double bush generally shouldn't be too much trouble unless it hits you right when you are first starting.
This is an idea that can be greatly expanded upon to turn it into something more. Add more gameplay elements and depth and you'll be on your way to having a neat little game on your hands.
It's too luck based with different speed vehicles taking different paths. You can easily get screwed because a fast truck zooms by while your people are trying to handle a a large truck. The fact that the tool tips replay each time your restart the level they show on is also very irritating. Add a way to turn them off please. Also annoying to have my works run off to a distant car, then have to walk home and reload before going to the next car, even if they didn't deliver anything in the first place. Kind of makes the added range upgrade a pretty big liability, dwarfing its benefits (especially on the second warehouse)
@Zesty
On the second board you're supposed to raise an army and attack down the pathway. Why would there be a big map like that if you were meant to stay in the corner and wait?
As a final note for the game, I am bummed that you put the last achievement in there. The completionist in me is sad that it can't finish the game. The rest of me is saying 'not going to pay $20 to get a medal'. Perhaps you could add a second page of achievements, that way I can have my finished page, and people who pay to play more will also have more achievements to strive for.
How to tell if your unit will attack: Most units can make 2 moves. That means, 1 tile and 1 attack, or 2 tiles. Horsemen can do the same, but with 2 tiles and 1 attack or 3 tiles and no attack. Pretty simple system, it'd be nice if the developer could put up a patch to get rid of the misleading red zones though.
Some of the population costs are off, like Pikeman elite apparently costs 3(sent me from 14 pop to 17) despite saying it only costs 2. Might be interesting if the enemies had lords (captains) as well. Also, please let use pick the path for our soldier to take. 4/5 now, 5/5 with these fixes/upgrades. Really great game so far.
Those satellites are uhhh... Pretty bad. I was astonished this game had such a low score after playing the first two levels. Then on level three I was a little taken back... And then level 4 sealed the deal, 2/5 (Which raised your average score by .1! You're welcome! :P)
